easily the oldest one-design class on the West Coast, and is among the top 5, oldest classes in the USA. This year marks the 91st anniversary of the first Bird Boat, a classic wooden sailboat specifically designed for racing on San Francisco Bay and the first one design fleet on the West Coast, while the San Francisco Perpetual Trophy, first raced on the bay in 1895, is purported to be the second oldest match-racing trophy in sailing behind only the America's Cup.
The S. F. Perpetual Cup is held in Trust by the two senior yacht clubs of San Francisco Bay -- the Corinthian Yacht Club (CYC) and the San Francisco Yacht Club (SFYC). It's a Challenge Cup, with the holder accepting a challenge
annually from another yacht club. Both clubs must be on the U. S. Pacific Coast. These are beautiful, 30 foot, classic wooden sloops. They are lovingly maintained and raced by their owners to an 82 year old, one-design measurement rule.
KIWI was the last SF Birdboat ever built. THERE ARE ONLY 22 BIRDS LEFT! We are looking for the right buyer to steward this classic vessel into the future. She is classic San Francisco maritime history, and is among the most cherished vessel designs on the San Francisco Bay! Step up and join a very elite club! Custom built of the lightest and strongest materials she is an great platform to complete your sailing dreams.
Custom Built for the Ostar race although she never competed in it her hull is built of wood and epoxy and is extremely light and strong. Her cabin is a simple open layout optimal for single-handed sailing but could be upgraded. The
boat has competed for rigging and sails and a reserve an unfinished 50-foot mast section. Boom is spruce and is functional but rough-looking. This boat's interior is unfinished wood with all systems exposed for easy servicing. There are no separate sleeping quarters or head it's all wide open.
She was built to compete in offshore racing not looking good at a boat show. There are no real gadgets or unnecessary systems that would add any weight to the boat and affect sailing performance. Right now her rig and keel are not optimized for modern racing but a new 50 mast section is included and owed has a plan to relocate it aft and increase the size of the foresail. Simply put this is not
the boat for everyone but if you are the right sailor who wants to use this boat to its fullest potential the seller is willing to be very flexible on the price. Tell us your plan!

Desirable transferable slip.
Boat has many upgrades, most of the hard work is done, add your touches and sail away. This 1985 Hunter 36 will be a comfortable cruiser once you finish the project. The seller has updated her some over the time he has owned her, with new standing rigging, new head, new settee cushions and more, but he lacks the
time to complete the project. She has a Yanmar 20 HP diesel to get you in and out of the port, or when the wind is not cooperating. She has plenty of space to sleep 4 comfortably. The owner has included a portable AC system that runs well and keeps the boat cool down below.
Many new parts and updated equipment over the last 6 years, but she needs some love. She has a reefing mainsail and is rigged for singled handed use. Self-tailing winches make her easy to sail. Nice S2 with lots of extra goodies, not many of these vessels available!
This S2 is a masthead sloop with Fin Keel that draws only 4 feet. The existing main and jib have propelled her faster than believed possible as measured by GPS in 18-20 mph winds. There is space below to sleep four and a niche for a head. Also below is a folding table for
meals, crafts, or projects. There is a sink and foot pump with an ice chest under the sink. OAL is 23'10" and a tabernacle mast allows this sweet-handling yacht to be trailered. The vessel is equipped with an inboard OMC Zephyr engine and the Saildrive has a folding prop.
Naturally, the engine is an electric start. This is a boat suitable for a beginning sailor or someone stepping up to a larger, faster boat. She can race and win, or cruise and camp, all on the same weekend. We are looking for people all over the country who share our love for boats. Wonderful Liveaboard or Turn-Key Bluewater Cruiser!
New Engine (161 hours! ) New Standing Rigging (Used 10 times! ) $55k+ in Upgrades & Replacements! This classic full modified keel Morgan 33 Out Island must be seen to be appreciated and will make a wonderful liveaboard or blue water cruiser. She is ready to go! Since 2006, the seller has put
$50k+into her in upgrades and replacements and has all records and receipts. With a newer engine with very low hours, new sails, and more, this sturdy and reliable sloop is ready for new adventures! This beauty has a pedigree of having sailed from Florida to Oregon via Cape Horn.
If you have been thinking about your special trip to Hawaii, Mexico, or just around the coastal US or Canada but don't want to have to invest in all the gear for a long-distance voyage, this might be the perfect boat for you. The seller believes the standing rigging was replaced prior to purchase in 2006 but there is no documentation of this. The rigging still looks to be in great condition and has only been
used about 10 times since replacement. The Morgan Out Island is a classic design from a builder with a tradition for building rugged, go-anywhere sailboats with a large volume of living space.
If you don't know the Out Island history, this is a classic boat with an excellent reputation for a quality build. Its full keel and shallow draft make it a great choice for cruising the Islands, and the storage and headroom make her practical as a liveaboard as well. If you are looking for comfort at the expense of some sailing performance, the Out Island is for you. Having said that, the current owner of this vessel has had her point 30-35 degrees into the wind in 12kt wind while making 7kts over
the ground with about 15 to 20 heal. The new sails have only been used about 10 times since purchasing.
The quarter berth can sleep one and the V-berth is comfortable to sleep two. There is also a custom enclosed entertainment center.
