All the Crealock creations are aesthetically sophisticated, ideally proportioned and some of the best handling, most sea kindly boats in the world.
- Ferenc Mate, The Worlds' Best Sailboats LAST DANCE is an exceptional sailing vessel and Pacific Seacraft is known for their sailing and cruising capabilities. Speed and comfort without compromise
to seaworthiness were the goals Bill Crealock set out to accomplish when he designed the plans of what would become the Pacific Seacraft Crealock 37. This stout and versatile boat is just as comfortable in a stiff breeze on a long blue water voyage as she is cruising the coast on the weekend.
The Pacific Seacraft 37 has been favorably reviewed over the course of its long production history by many owners, experienced sailors, and experts alike. As a testament to her design, nearly 200 hulls have been laid since her inception in 1978. In 1992 the Pacific Seacraft Crealock 37 was inducted into the American Sailboat Hall of Fame as one of the most well reviewed all-time classic cruisers.
Her design and build quality make for a solid and capable Bluewater cruiser with a handsome traditional look. Boasting an attractive shear line, generous overhangs, and a shapely canoe stern she presents with just as much beauty as she does exceptional sailing characteristics.
The construction is top notch and well proven with a solid fiberglass hull, a fiberglass sandwich deck joined to the hull with a molded bulwark, and box joint topped off with a finished teak cap rail. Below the waterline the shoal draft fin keel features a cutaway fore and aft with a full skeg rudder and protected propeller. Her well-proven hull is designed to minimize crew fatigue while the exceptionally balanced
cutter rig is designed to be easily and safely sailed with all lines led aft to the birdpit.
Notable features include 30-inch-high sturdy stanchions, double bow roller, oversized and uncompromising deck fittings, and a fantastic sail plan which includes mainsail with full battens and two reef points, high cut Yankee, and 130 percent Genoa. Both headsails include Harken roller furling. This is an ideal boat for blue water sailing. This is a great boat for a single-hander or a cruising couple. The sail plan is easy to manage whether sailing in a light breeze in the local river or bay or in a gale in the middle of the ocean. Her beautiful shear lines will look good in any marina and her sensible design will sail well in any ocean.
Very few 37-foot boats can compare with the Pacific Seacraft 37. LAST DANCE has been very well kept by her last two owners and is ready for many more miles under her keel. Don? t miss this exceptional opportunity to own a beautiful Pacific Seacraft 37. Disclaimer The Company offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel. Ten chromed brass portlights and two overhead hatches lend well to the ventilation of the boat but are well sealed for when underway. The forward cabin includes a rather generously sized offset double berth to starboard with a dressing seat to port. Stowage is exceptional and includes two tall hanging lockers, a set of three drawers, double door stowage compartment, and a hide-a-way bin. There? s additional space for gear below the berth and seat, a mirrored bulkhead with mirror, and convenient access to the chain locker at the forward bulkhead.
Adjacent to the forward cabin is a well sized head with vanity with cabinetry above and below, stainless steel sink with pull-out hot/cold shower faucet, a large medicine cabinet, and a nice teak trimmed mirror. Teak wood touches throughout the head include the floor grate, well-positioned grab rail, and a fold-down seat. The main salon offers a generous amount of space with an L-shaped settee to starboard that easily converts to a double berth, twin leaf folding table with wine bottle storage, and a settee to port well suited for a sea berth. The fiddled cabinetry is both beautifully crafted and utilitarian in design.
Everything stays nicely tucked into place even while underway in a rough sea. Guest accommodations include a nice sized quarter berth just aft of the navigation station. The chart table offers a well-lit workspace with folding top, wet locker beneath, and a forward-facing seat with stowage under the cushion. Tayana took it to another level once again when they built the 48’ DS.
Designed for long range worldwide cruising, the Tayana 48 DS must be at the top of your list! This blue water yacht was designed and built with exceptional quality, and provides all one could ask for, speed under sail, safety in any sea condition and comfort found in few
yachts of this size. The 48 DS is a variation on the company's popular 48-footer. Designer Rob Ladd added a deck saloon and raised the floor structure on Bob Perry's original hull to create a spacious, open interior. Raising the saloon floor not only improved visibility from the cabin, but also opened more space for tankage.
The large wrap-around saloon windows keep the living spaces bright, and the headroom is still 7’ with the raised floor. " Enchante" was constructed with Vinylester resins; therefore, she should never have an issue with blisters. Her hull is solid fiberglass from the bottom of the keel up to the waterline. Above the waterline, a core of PVC foam was added
for stiffness and that continues to the deck joint. When stepping aboard you will immediately notice her beauty and the quality of all onboard systems. Entering the large center birdpit that is fully enclosed with custom hardtop dodger you will feel the spaciousness and security she provides.
Going thru the companionway and downstairs to the comfortable Salon there is settee with dining table to port and another settee and table to starboard. The navigation station is aft in Salon to starboard and the Galley is aft to port. Continuing aft thru the galley you will enter the master stateroom with queen bed and en-suite head with stall shower. Moving forward from the salon there is a washer/dryer
to starboard in the companionway and the Head is located to port.
The guest stateroom is forward and has private Head access. If your dreams lie over the horizon, “ Enchante” is truly a one of a kind very well maintained Tayana 48 DS. She can take you anywhere in absolute safety, luxurious comfort and timeless style. She is a must to see and ready for the change of command. Manufacturer Provided Description The Tayana 48 is a solidly built Robert H. Perry design, and the cruising skipper can create an interior layout choosing from a range of options designed around the popular center birdpit configuration. The 40-foot waterline is relatively long to produce good speed, and the boats underwater profile features a long-chord keel of moderate draft and a solid rudder mounted on a large skeg for good tracking and control response.
The hull has a moderate reverse transom. All these components together form a contemporary and well-proportioned boat. In winds that ranged from 10-20 knots for the test sail, the cutter rig 48 slid through the short, steep waves easily with a solid, gentle motion. The boat sails well to windward in these conditions, and off the wind it tracks ruler straight. The Tayana 48 DS is a variation on the companys popular 48-footer.
Designer Rob Ladd added a deck salon and raised the floor structure on Bob Perrys original hull to create a spacious, open interior. Raising the salon floor not only improved visibility from the cabin, but also opened more space for tankage. Warm, traditional teak joinery is everywhere. The large wrap-around saloon windows keep the living spaces bright, and headroom will make any tall sailor smile. The master cabin aft is equipped with a large double bunk on centerline, a private head and stand-up shower stall, a hanging locker, and plenty of storage space. Two-and three-cabin accommodation plans are available for guest staterooms.
On deck, toerails combine with 32-inch-tall lifelines and tree-sturdy stanchions to provide a secure feeling under way. The high center birdpit is comfortable and dry, but there is a large step down from the birdpit to the deck. The ground-tackle system is outstanding. Hefty bow rollers and a powerful windlass make it easy to set and raise the hook, and oversized polished stainless mooring cleats are strong, well placed, and aesthetically pleasing. Vessel Walkthrough The comfortable Salon is very spacious and airy with lots of light and ventilation.
There is a settee with dining table to port and another settee and table to starboard. The navigation station is aft in Salon to starboard and the Galley is aft to port. Forward companionway. Boat has many upgrades, most of the hard work is done, add your touches and sail away. This 1985 Hunter 36 will be a comfortable cruiser once you finish the project. The seller has updated her some over the time he has owned her, with new standing rigging, new head, new settee cushions and more, but he lacks the
time to complete the project. She has a Yanmar 20 HP diesel to get you in and out of the port, or when the wind is not cooperating. She has plenty of space to sleep 4 comfortably. The owner has included a portable AC system that runs well and keeps the boat cool down below.
Many new parts and updated equipment over the last 6 years, but she needs some love. She has a reefing mainsail and is rigged for singled handed use. Self-tailing winches make her easy to sail.
