The easy driven hull is powered by an innovative B and R rig (no backstay) with all lines lead aft for ease of handling. A stainless steel arch is multi-purpose and holds lights, stereo speakers and the traveler rests on top keeping it out of the way.
The bimini and dodger protect the large birdpit from sunshine and weather. Wide side decks and the walk through aft transom make maneuverability easy and safe. With nine overhead hatches, 11 opening ports, two fixed ports and two deck skylights you will not find a vessel with more abundant ventilation and light pouring

The guest stateroom is starboard and aft with a queen berth and plenty of storage. Below, the dinette area is large enough to handle the crew, but intimate enough for two. Storage is plentiful as is the natural light and ventilation. Hand-rubbed teak and exquisite fabrics are evident and make the interior feel like a much larger and more expensive sailing yacht. An innovative forward head arrangement splits the shower and head so both can be used at the same time.
The forward master stateroom rivals most yachts twice her size. Twin hanging lockers and lots of drawers make staying aboard easy and a great night’s sleep is guaranteed by the inner spring mattress. An enormous dual opening refrigerator and freezer are central to the U-Shaped galley. A Force 10 propane stove and oven plus a microwave oven will make dinners a joy to prepare while the island sink will have cleanup covered. Storage for everything is close at hand, including the recessed trash receptacle. Entertaining is gracious with the open salon which incorporates a television and entertainment system.
Twin comfortable seats and a convertible birdtail table are located just forward of the extensive navigation station. This Hunter 460 offers the two stateroom and two head layout with the third “stateroom” built into a pantry, office and laundry center. Manufacturer Provided Description Bringing the birdpit full beam allows the use of a custom console complete with mechanical steering, electronics space, twin fold down tables, and even a storage bin with drink holders. The standard recessed windlass allows the capability of handling two anchors simultaneously on the dual offset anchor roller.

This boat is in great condition for her age with many upgrades.
In 2019 the engine injectors were pulled, repaired and tested. The engine compression was checked and found to be within OEM specifications. The fresh water circulating pump was replaced. The prop shaft and cutless bushing were checked and found to be in good shape. The air-conditioner
was replaced. Two long cabin ports were replaced. In 2018 the exhaust hose was replaced along with the aft cabin wall covering (carpet). Both cabin overhead hatches have been replaced with trim ring that has both shade and screen coverings. In 2012 the hull was painted with Alexseal epoxy topcoat.
