This 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible was purchased in 2010 and went through a complete restoration that was finished in 2020.
Restoration involved replacement of body panels including cowl and floors, repainting, new interior, new top, all new wiring, new suspension, rebuilt engine and drivetrain. All areas of rust were repaired and the doors,
floor, valances, headlight housings, grill, bumpers, and exterior lights were replaced. The car is equipped with 16" American Racing wheels, power front disc brakes, Borgeson power steering, and electronic ignition system. The interior is black and white vinyl with front bench seal, GT style gauges, and wood rimmed steering wheel.
Engine was rebuilt and bored 0030" over with new pistons, camshaft, bearings and gaskets, and rebuilt cylinder heads.

I am the second owner of the car and have had it for over 52 years. It was purchased new in Spartanburg, SC. It has all the matching part numbers. I have overhauled the engine twice, with the last rebuild, less than 10,000 miles ago. I have also rebuilt the front suspension,
replaced the exhaust system, and rebuilt the 2/4 barrel carbs. The speedometer reads 27,839, but it has turned over once. This is a true collectors car.

Engine has been upgraded to a non-original 302cu in V8 by the previous owner. This car starts easily, runs well with plenty of power to move this car nicely. EXTERIOR: Body is straight and solid. The top fitment is good as well. Exterior is stock-appearing with vivid red paint and a nice contrasting white top. automatic transmission. Kaisers were known for their unique colors and bamboo pattern material interiors. Wheelbase was 188.5" A fine Stardust cream over Jade green example, with matching interior ready to show. You will not find many of these on the market.
