Sold new in Georgia, this car comes equipped with it's matching # 396/325hp engine, factory A/C, power steering, power brakes and 12 bolt posi-rear. During restoration, the original Power Glide was swapped out for a more reliable Turbo 350
automatic and the brakes were also converted to disc all the way around. Very rare original color combo of Cameo Beige with two-tone Fawn Beige interior (option 712). This 1970 Ford Torino GT is a rare muscle car.
It is powered by the 429 cu. in. Super Cobra Jet ram air drag pack pack package. The original 4 speed transmission is mated to a track-loc rear axle. The mechanical restoration work was performed by a Ford dealer who had sold the vehicle originally. The engine overhaul included cylinders bored out.0040
over and installation of a high performance cam shaft and conversion of the ignition to electronic. All front end parts were also replaced. In 2023 a complete body restoration was completed including body stripped, primed, repainted original color, all chrome re plated, all glass replaced, new laser stripes, all new rims and tires, interior reupholstered, new trunk liner, new weather-stripping.
A power brake unit was also installed. The objective was to have the car as perfect as possible. Documentation includes a Marti report (421 cars built with this engine), original bill of sale, build sheet. The car has been driven very little and stored in a heated garage.
