This 1966 " C" code Mustang coupe was built in San Jose California equipped with a 289cid V8 and 2 barrel carburetor.
The trim tag decodes the car was assembled originally as follows;65B - Coupe with Luxury Interior A - Raven Black66 - Black Luxury27A - Built January 27th6 - C-4 Automatic and 2.8:1 Rear gear ratio The previous owner
up fitted the car ins 2020 with many performance and appearance modifications to replicate the Ford Mustang GT Coupe which include; correct GT badges, GT side stripes, the Rally Pack, correct GT exhaust panel, GT gas cap and fog lamps. The 289cid motor was upgraded from " C" code specification to " A" code specification utilizing a 4 barrel carburetor, 289 aluminum valve covers with the addition of electronic ignition.
Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator and electric fans. The car has power steering and upgraded disc brakes in front and all the lines were upgraded and replaces. Suspension rides on GT style wheels, with GT sway bars. The interior received the
correct GT upholstery, steering wheel and a full center console. With the rally pack gauges on the steering column. Vintage AC has been added and the windows tinted to keep things cool in the summer. Entertainment is handled by a retro sound radio.
