Offered for sale is this 1968 912 Coupe built at the Karmann works that is beautifully finished in Irish Green over black interior.
Meticulously restored, this 912 was brought back to showroom finish throughout, with its stock appearance being maintained. The Irish green finish is very well done, not appearing to be overly restored. The interior
carries a similar theme, being tastefully restored and welcoming. The care taken in its restoration is recognized in the engine compartment, where the engine assembly finish would make engineer proud. This numbers matching engine runs excellent with proper pressures and temperatures.
The interest and market value of early Porsche 912s has been climbing steadily over the past few years and offered here is an example that has been cared for and restored, simply ready for years of driving pleasure ahead. The 1967-1972 Chevrolet C/K series of pickup trucks are well on their way to achieving iconic status, much like the 1955-1957 Chevrolet passenger cars that came before.
Just watch one of the next major auctions and you might be surprised at how many of these cross the block and at how much they've appreciated. Timeless styling and a superior
ride (thanks to a trailing arm/coil spring rear suspension) are but two reasons for the incredible popularity of these 'Action Line' trucks. Our 1969 Chevrolet C10 is a fine example and clearly demonstrates this model's virtues. Lift the hood and you'll find Chevy's ubiquitous 350 V8 that's been fortified with a Holley Street Avenger carburetor, a Weiand aluminum intake manifold, and long tube headers.
Additional features include power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning, TH400 automatic transmission, auxiliary gauges, wood-rimmed steering wheel, new tool box with auxiliary fuel tank, spray in bedliner, and 18'' Rally-style aluminum wheels wrapped with fresh rubber (255/55R18 F, 275?60R18 R). This gem is sporting correct CST trim and badging, but I cannot prove its originality due to the SPID label being painted.

The engine is a GM 350-cu. in. crate V-8 motor with 12,500 miles on it. The photos show an aluminum intake manifold with a four-barrel carburetor (electric choke), HEI ignition, and tubular exhaust headers. The engine starts right up and doesnât smoke or leak. The Turbo Hydra-Matic 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission has a 1,000-rpm stall speed and shifts smoothly. The rear end is a 9-inch Ford. EXTERIOR The light green exterior was last repainted in 2020 and the paint condition as âsuperb. â He
adds that there is no rust and no blemishes. The glass is rated as âperfect, â but the vent windows âdo leak a little when the car is washed, â.
The door and trunk handles have been shaved, the running boards are smooth, and the front bumper has been replaced with custom nerf bars. The one-year-only 1938 grille appears to be straight and shiny in the photos. INTERIOR The upholstery is rated as âexcellentâ, with no blemishes noted. He adds the carpet is âvery good, but it could stand to be shampooed. â The heat and air conditioning both work, as do all the gauges, power windows/locks, and the Alpine stereo system. The gauges are from Classic Instruments and are mounted in a billet gauge panel.
The tilt steering column is topped with a billet steering wheel. The stereo is mounted in an overhead console. The trunk was carpeted and upholstered to match the interior.
