the US market, this is an original US spec car equipped from the factory with the 5spd manual gearbox (as evidenced by the "8" in the 8th digit of the VIN). New interior and top was done in the early 80's, has had one repaint in the late 70's. I would rate this a solid #3 car using Hagerty Insurance rating system.
They value the car at 23,000. Runs and drives nice, top works. I just had the radiator rebuilt as it sprang a leak and the core was weak. This is a very nice example of a first year Bullet Bird. It is not a 50K #1 car but you could make it one and have less that 50 in it.
