Very original in appearance and most running gear. Any changes from original were to facilitate everyday reliability, drivability, safety and comfort. Engine is Avanti R-1 that has been completely rebuilt. Cooling system has been modernized with aluminum radiator with electric fan system. Four speed T-10
in excellent shape with all new clutch parts. Air conditioning system is a practically all new upgrade. Brakes have a Turner front conversion with Wilwood dual master cyl. Body has been frame off rotisserie for replacement of torque boxes. No rust on frame. The repaint is in original Avanti Gold with urethane single stage.
The quality is good but has some small chips and imperfections so not great. Bumpers have been rechromed. All glass is good, windshield is new. Most of the interior was recently redone. All gages work even the clock. Looks very nice and runs and drives great.

This is a beautiful 1955 Cadillac Coupe Deville.
It âs a real head turner that runs like a sewing machine. As stated before it âs a 1955 Cadillac Coupe Deville Two Tone Green and White. Car is an original AC car. Powertrain is all factory. Engine 331 V8, Automatic Transmission. The brakes where completely gone through and adjusted about
1 year ago. It appears to have a newer exhaust system as well as rear shocks. The Generator light is currently on, and the horn is not working, maybe a fuse? Pretty typical issues from a 60 year old car. The Body and paint are in fantastic shape. The car has been repainted at some point, my guess is about 15 years ago.
Very straight, there is a few issues that you would expect to see with an older paint job. I have taken detailed pictures of all body panels. The Right ü panel has a few waves in it. The paint on the hood, in a small section that is cracking-chipping also there is very small âouttie â dent in the hood. About the size of a pen head. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Car is also equipped with power windows and power seat. Tires are radial wide whites with factory hub caps. Tires appear to be almost new.

Beautifully restored car.
Paint stripped to bare metal, redone in correct Bronze Mist Metallic. New Vinyl top, interior totally redone, using correct materials, leather inserts in the seats. All chrome on the car redone, bumpers, interior and exterior trim. Drivetrain not cosmetically restored, but all clean and neat. Transmission overhauled,
engine runs great. Many suspension, brake and steering parts replaced. A/C updated to 134a and blows nice and cold. All power accessories work, including windows, driver's seat, antenna, AM radio had FM added, but you can't see it, front and rear speakers.
Extra gauges added at lower left of dash for water temp and oil pressure (seemed like a good idea on a 53 year old car), but all dash lights and gauges work. Tilt wheel, correct factory floor mats and trunk mat, dealer accessory tissue dispenser and fuel door trim. Trunk redone using correct fabric. Windshield replaced, so no pits. Underside is original, some surface rust as expected, but no issues. Dual exhaust all in great shape.
Car starts right up and drives great, transmission shifts are perfect, runs at 180 degrees, unless it is really hot out, then maybe 190-200. A few scratches to the paint since it was done, but overall car is magnificent.
I doubt there is a better one, so if you want beautiful Electra coupe that needs nothing except to be driven, this is the car.
