The âAâ in the VIN indicates this Mustang was originally equipped with a four-barrel 289-cu.
in. V-8 engine rated at 225 horsepower, which was one of the two engines available with the GT package. idles and runs well, with no smoke on cold starts. It is fitted with an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor,
along with aftermarket finned valve covers and air cleaner. There is some reported minor seepage at the rear main seal, but the four-speed manual transmission is dry and is said to shift smoothly. There is also some weeping at the rear axle, which, according to the âAâ in the axle code position of the body tag has a 3.00:1 ratio.
The engine compartment shows some wear in the restoration, including some paint flaking off the radiator. The radiator itself has been fitted with an aftermarket overflow tank.

Rebuilding of the 350-horsepower 396-cu. in. V-8 had already been âcompleted in 2016 and 3,050 miles has been put on it since. â The engine features a two-bolt main block that was bored over, and new pistons were fitted. To boost output, a hotter camshaft, Hedman headers, exhaust with a crossover
pipe and Flowmaster mufflers, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, and an MSD electronic ignition system were swapped in. He advises to pump the gas pedal a few times on cold start and says that there are âno fluid leaksâ from the engine, and the four-speed manual transmission âshifts like new.
â As part of its rebuild, the Muncie four-speed was modified by fitting âan 0.80:1 fourth gear in place of the 1.00:1 gear to lower highway rpm, â. And he notes that the 12-bolt rear axle is equipped with Positraction and a 3.55:1 gearset. During the restoration, âthe quarter panels were replaced, due to rust. â The paint is âvery good, and was almost perfect
when new in 2020, â and that there are no swirls, but he does note are a few scratches where the trunk lid contacts the latch. The glass is âvery good, â with no scratches or cracks, the seals are in âperfectâ condition, and the lights work.
Per the cowl data plate, this Chevelle originally had a black vinyl top (code âBâ after the paint code), but decided to go with the painted roof look. the seats are in âexcellentâ condition, the carpet and headliner are ânew, â and the heat, AM radio, and air-conditioning unit from Vintage Air, all work. The only gauge in the optional cluster thatâs inaccurate is the oil pressure, which âreads high, â New bushings, shocks,
ball-joints, and steering linkage were installed during the restoration, but the factory coil springs were retained.
The âwheels are perfect, â he adds, and the BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires are said to be about five years old with 3,000 miles on them. The SS âdrives and brakes straight, â and the power steering has a âlittle play like it did when new, â but no leaks, that the power disc/drum brakes are âperfect, â and that the car ârides and handles like it originally did. â

The 450SL was powered in 1979 by Mercedes-Benzâs 4,520-cc OHC V-8. and all body panels appear âsolid. â All weather seals are described as being in good condition and no water leaks are evident. All lighting is stated to work properly. The bumpers are said to have been replated, while the rest of the chrome and brightwork remains bright and well polished.
Small dings are visible on the fender top trim. The heat-pressed black vinyl pleated seats are stated to be original and in very good condition, with light scratches visible and with full movement on their tracks without issue. The carpeting appears to be in fair condition, with wear visible at the heel area below the accelerator pedal. A replacement perforated vinyl headliner was recently installed and is described as âcorrect. â There is headliner material puckering around the C-pillar.

in. OHV Thriftmaster inline-six was the base engine for these three-quarter ton trucks in 1948. The original literature boasted of 90 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque at 1,200 to 2,000 RPM. the engine idles normally after a cold start, and smokes slightly on start up. The original air cleaner has been replaced with a small
diameter unit. Engine work performed in 2018 included a carburetor rebuild, and new tune-up parts. As was standard equipment on all Chevrolet 3600s when new in 1948, this example is fitted with a three-speed manual transmission. All of the three-speed 3600s included a column-mounted shifter, which was advertised as offering more passenger cabin space.
all gears are in working order including reverse. The truck received a full repaint! The truck was painted inside and out, and the repaint carries through to the engine bay. the paint quality is excellent with no swirls!

This Impala was outfitted with the 348-cubic-inch Turbo-Thrust version of the W-series big-block V-8 mated to a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission.
Fed by a Rochester four-barrel carburetor, it was rated at 250 horsepower. The engine in this Impala was rebuilt about 6,000 miles ago with a mild grin Comp Cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock
409 Performer cylinder heads with an Edelbrock intake manifold, and a new Edelbrock 600 CFM four-barrel carburetor. The Powerglide was replaced about 5,000 miles ago with a column-shifted General Motors 700R4 overdrive automatic, which has also been rebuilt and since then, received several mechanical upgrades.
The engine is said to start immediately when cold, without smoke, and the transmission is likewise reported to change gear properly. A new rear end with 3.70 gears was installed 1,000 miles ago.

The paintwork is of high quality and remains in excellent condition, with no noteworthy blemishes.
There is no known rust in the body. there are a few imperfections in the exterior chrome, but the glass is all original and in good condition, with no cracks or significant scratches. The carâs black vinyl interior is believed to be mostly original.
It shows well, with the black bench seat (with fold-down armrest) matching the production interior code on the trim tag. The carpet and upholstery also appear to be in very good condition, with minimal wear, with the seat covers and door panels believed to be original.
The same goes for the steering wheel and shifter. The 400-cubic-inch V-8 engine was rebuilt by the previous owner and wears the correct tri-power heads with the casting number, for a car equipped with the L69 engine, four-speed transmission and 3.55-geared rear end. It is also dressed with the correct tri-power induction system and other specific components. it starts easily and runs well, with no smoke at startup! The
Muncie four-speed manual transmission and rear axle were also rebuilt during the previous ownerâs restoration. There are no known shifting issues and there are no known leaks from the transmission or axle.
Used 1966 Oldsmobile 442 77,246 miles, Red
This 1973 El Camino features the numbers-matching Turbo-Jet LS4 454-cubic-inch V-8, with a four-barrel carburetor, 8.25:1 compression and dual exhaust, that was installed at the factory when new.
The Y in the VIN denotes that this was a 454 car from the factory. the top end of the engine was rebuilt 3,000 miles ago, adding an Edelbrock aluminum
intake and four-barrel carburetor, steel braided hoses, an aluminum radiator, and a new heater core. The El Caminoâs big-block 454 is mated to a floor-shifted Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 three-speed automatic that is also said to match to the engine and the VIN.
Of the thousand or so SS 454 equipped El Caminos, the majority featured this transmission. The transmission shifts well. This El Camino was refinished in Antique White in 2005, to an âexcellent standard, â

The OHV Chevrolet straight-six that once resided within this 3100âs frame has been supplanted by a 350-cubic-inch small-block Chevrolet V-8, that was installed 1,100 miles ago using all-new components.
The engine is fed by a four-barrel carburetor atop an Edelbrock Performer EPS intake manifold. A chrome air cleaner housing from Summit Racing
Equipment is also in place, as are new ignition wires, hoses, and fittings for the aftermarket air-conditioning system. An thermostatically controlled electric fan has also been installed. This engine is well accessorized for appearance purposes with billet accessory drive pulleys, and an alternator and air-conditioning compressor plated with chrome.
The engine is said to start willingly and idle smoothly, without smoke. The replacement, rebuilt GM Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 three-speed automatic transmission reportedly shifts properly, with no untoward noises. A new rear end was also part of the project. The engine bay presents as being bright and impressively clean. this 3100 has had a patch
panel installed to correct the only known area of rust on the truck. The truck was repainted three years ago. The paint is a 8-10. The cabâs drip edges have been removed, and the hood has been smoothed into a one-piece unit, with the leading hood badge removed.
First Series pickups in 1955 were distinguished by their massive grille treatment with both horizontal and vertical floating bars. The chrome on this 3100âs grille appears to be in excellent condition, as does the chrome on both bumpers.

The range of Mustang engine options was available in the California Special and per the âCâ in the Vehicle Identification Number, this one was equipped with a 289-cubic-inch, four-barrel-fed V-8 rated at 195 horsepower.
the car run very well, with its rebuilt carburetor and original-type points ignition system. no reported smoke at startup
and no known leaks from the engine. It is paired with a C4 three-speed automatic transmission that reportedly shifts smoothly. The rest of the drivetrain includes the original-type 8-inch rear axle, with a 2.79 final-drive ratio. The interior has been completely restored in its original black vinyl trim.
Everything was reportedly restored or replaced such as the headliner, overhead and center consoles (both restored by Just Dashes), sun visors, rear view mirror, dash pad, gauges, custom wood steering wheel, AM/FM radio, door panels, bucket seats, seat belts, and carpeting. The original steering wheel is included with the sale. Everything in the revamped interior is in working order with the exception of the clock. The car is also equipped with a correct-style set of rubber floor mats and the trunk was also restored.
