This car runs nice and is a great show cruiser. I drove it about 60 MPH and it handles the road nicely especially for a lowered classic car. The brakes stop nice and were rebuilt, tires are older. It is fun to drive and gets a lot of attention everywhere it goes. It may need a tune
up from sitting but always starts up and accelerates good. This is a true hot rod build and looks very cool. It was built to be a driver quality car that everyone can enjoy, it is starting to show some age but still looks really good and always loved! The paint still shines up nicely and is a sharp Pearl White paint job with ghost flames.
It has a custom painted merrill on the trunk which was very expensive and looks cool! This car has a lot of custom work done including chopped top, shaved handles, frenched lights, frenched antennae, neon lighting, lowered suspension, side pipes for show and flame throwing exhaust! There are some blemishes from being driven and enjoyed such as chips
touched up, some blemishes in paint from age, cracking on rear bumper, but overall it is a good looking car. The interior shows nicely and is a matching white leather interior!
The seats have no rips, everything looks good. It is comfortable to cruise around in. The dash is painted to match. The engine and engine compartment look nice and has neon lighting. The car also has cool cat whistling horn and train horn for cruises. The underside has some rust on inner rockers, frame looks straight, hard to get pictures because car is so low, you cant tell when you're looking at the car I just noticed it today when I tried to take pics. Also noticed a oil drip from sitting. This car is a lot

I will try to be as descriptive as possible, but please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I have owned this car since early this year. The car
has a five speed manual transmission and is in very rare, $2000 optioned, Slate Grey Metallic color. The original engine has been expanded from 3.6L to a RSR Spec 3.8L, using all high quality parts ($26k+ in receipts for engine alone). I have full records for the car dating back to 1995, including the complete build.
This car was originally a California car, made its way to the South and has since returned. Current miles on chassis is 154,7XX. The engine was rebuilt at 139,742 in 2008. Roughly 14,958 miles on the new engine. The best way to describe this car in one word is BEAST. It is all business. Drivetrain: As mentioned above, the engine is a 3.6L expanded to a RSR spec 3.8L mated
with an original rebuilt G50 Transmission. I was told it produces roughly 280 whp with stock cams, and if swapped for race cams, it would yield significantly more power.
The build includes the Mahle 3.8 Piston and Cylinder kit, Carrillo rods, Smart rod bearings, ARP Bolts, knifed edged/drilled crank, Weltmeister single pulley hub, Titanium springs and retainers, port and polish, GT3 Oil Pump, Bosch injectors, rebuilt distributors, new crank bearings, rebuilt lower pully/harmonic balancer, Wevo mounts, lightweight RS flywheel, Motronic DME, Mappying by Steve Weiner, dual front auxiliary oil coolers, RSR Rennline Engine Carrier, RSR transmission mounts, and RS clutch. Phew, that was quite
a mouth full. The engine does have one drop of oil every other drive, which I think may be coming from the top of the engine.
I never noticed a change in the oil level because of this. The car really pulls hard, and is tuned for 93 octane. It sounds absolutely amazing with a stock exhaust, stock heat exchangers, gutted J-pipe and Fabspeed Euro Resonator/Catalytic delete. I will include a Catalytic converter for those needing a smog inspection. The transmission does have a short shift kit as well. All fluids changed 100 miles ago. The last three owners and I have always used Brad Penn oil to ensure sufficient Zinc and Phosphorus levels. The car is planted on JIC Comp coilovers with rear remote adjusters, and comes to a halt with 993 Turbo front brakes and 968 rear brakes.
A 993 Turbo Brake Master Cylinder with Brake Biased Adjuster help all the pieces of the brake system work in synergy. Pads are EBC Blue Stuff for street driving. Urethane bushings all around help make the steering insanely direct. And finally, a set of super wide 18x10.5 Front, 18x11.5 Rear CCW C14 18â wheels with Toyo RA-1s give the car an âall-business â look. This is a great candidate for Saturday Night cruising as is or, dare I say, some street rodding. This car is largely untouched, kept in era-correct condition from the Dyna Flash Straight-8 to the Mohair type broadcloth upholstery. This one is a charmer.
The Dyna-Flash Straight 8 is 248 cubic inches and a smooth running engine. The engine bay has original sheetmetal from the firewall to the inner fenders and it appears much of the original Bryce Beige (code 539) paint remains under there. Open the doors to 1939.
This interior is beautiful. The dash displays original gauges and brightwork throughout, while the upholstery retains the vintage look and feel. The original steering wheel bakelite plastics are very nice. This is a true Business Coupe, there is no back seat, just room for your wares. Of course a back seat could be incorporated easily for the kids or grandkids. The body lines are unmistakably classic on this '39 Buick Coupe. The
paint and body are in exceptional shape. The trim is intact and in great shape throughout. The doors shut tightly and feel solid. I acquired it out of an estate, has been stored indoors for several years, so I would highly recommend flushing all of the fluids, cleaning out the fuel tank, and probably new tires before I drove it at any great distance.
