This Beauty was born in August of 1972, and it was titled as a 1973 Model, making it one of the last W108 V8 models rolling of the production line!What makes this beauty special is that it is All Original car – Original Paint, Original Interior, and Original Drive Train!

Mercedes made only 8,173 280SEL 4.5 V8’s in period from May of 1971

until November of 1972, and this beauty is one of them! Also, 4.5 V8 was only offered to the North American Market, making it particularly desirable in Europe! This Mercedes is very solid, and its undercarriage is all original and unmolested! There is not a lot of 280SEL 4.5 V8’s out there in this solid, original and preserved condition! As Mercedes made only a little

bit over 8,100 of 4.5 V8 SEL’s, there is not a lot of them left period!

Add a rare floor gearshift option, and number of survivors is even smaller!Its original and elegant Black MB-Tex interior shows beautifully! Seats look great and are still comfortable and very supportive. Carpets and headliner are in great shape as well! Also importantly there are no cracks on the dash, and top of the door panels – trait of cars that spent majority of life on the hot sun with no protection! Only thing not original on the inside is updated CD-Player, with Satellite Radio option, which is actually not a bad thing as you can listen to plethora of your favorite tunes, while cruising down the road in this beauty!
