Used 2013 Infiniti G37 X, 123,000 miles, White
1978 Jaguar XJ6L with Chevrolet 350 Engine and Turbo 350 Transmission Professional Conversion and restoration.
The conversion was professionally done using a " Johns Cars" conversion kit, a GM Crate Motor a Rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission. It is a classic, can go to car shows cruise ins, but can be done in comfortable air conditioned
comfort, or, could be a daily driver. You cannot tell that this engine transmission did not come in this car from the factory. All wiring harnesses, mounts, brackets, hoses, etc. fit perfectly and look stock. No cutting, bending, or hacking was ever done. The Engine has an Edelbrock Quadrajet, Intake Manifold Valve covers.
The radiator is standard GM, as is the Fan shroud, Fan, Driveline, Power Steering pump, alternator, A/C Compressor, brackets, belts, etc. The rear differential is a stock Jaguar independent suspension, but is out of a newer Series III Jag, so the gearing is perfect for the Chevy Conversion (3.42). The twin fuel tanks were plumbed together to act as one tank, and the
fuel tank switch on the dash has been wired to a quiet electric fuel pump in the trunk. (There is also the stock mechanical engine mounted pump) The front suspension was upgraded with urethane bushings in the A arms Sway Bar.
The shocks are KYB. The car has the stock 4 wheel power disc brakes, power windows locks, original replacement leather interior, power antenna, newer stereo (AM/FM/CD/USB/AUX, with Ipod earphone jack in console compartment to connect Ipod, phone, etc. to stereo. The paint is PPG Basecoat/Clearcoat with Epoxy Primer underneath. Color is a 1992 Camaro Dark Teal Blue Metallic. The car isn't quite as " blue" as my pictures make it. It has a little more Teal
to it - not green. It is code 37, you can google that paint code for a '92 Camaro and look at the colors there.
A Series III grill (1979 - 1982 was installed as the vertical grill fins looked much better than the horizontal fins in the original Series II grill. The outer headlights are European Spec, as the cars were designed with. They are still stock sealed beam lights, but are larger diameter than the inner lights. Apparently back then, the US had some rule that all the headlights had to be the same size, so the US imported cars had the trim rings for the outer headlights real thick to adapt the larger opening down to the smaller headlights. (You can google 1978 XJ6L images and see how nice the larger lights and newer style grill look).
The dash is the correct burled walnut (Actual wood)Tires are Pirelli 215/70/15 with virtually no miles on them. One photo shows the trunk, with the original jack, lug wrench, etc. in the bag strapped to the LH side. These cars are known to have rust issues - this car has absolutely none never did. The car has never spent a night outside since 1986. The car came from Southern California before me. The car was originally brown, but was stripped door jambs, trunk, etc. leave no trace of original color.

Now for sale is this 1959 Le Sabre in well preserved condition.
Repainted in its original color of Wedgewood Blue, the car has a lot of eye appeal. The paint quality is just fair, it looks pretty good from 20 feet but is far from show quality. There are some minor areas of paint flaking around the trim, as well as some areas on the roof and
trunk lid where the paint is thin. It doesn't seem to keep people from ooh-ing and ah-ing over the car though, when I was taking the pictures at least 10 different folks stopped along the way to take a closer look, no joke. GM products from this year have a certain cachet and this car is no exception.61,100 original miles The body on this Le Sabre is very straight, panel alignment is good, you can tell it's never been hit or bumped.
All doors close with a perfect click. The car's strongest point is the fidelity of its sheet metal. You'll find no rust issues - no bubbling, no blistering, no problems. Tires are Remington bias-plys, they're old but still have good tread. All 4 hubcaps are
original and in great shape. The complex front grill is in excellent condition. The front bumper is very straight and the original chrome still looks pretty nice after 58 years.
The back bumper has a small dent and quite a bit of hazing. All lights and lenses on the car are in nice condition The interior is pretty much a time warp back to 1959. The unique ribbon speedometer on the 59's were prone to failure, this one works perfectly. All of the gauges work correctly, the ventilation sliders move freely, even the original radio works. Not really any glitches to track down; the lights, signals, fan, wipers and horn all work correctly. Good original door panels and hardware. Windows all
wind smoothly, all locks work. Clean backseat, parcel shelf, and headliner.
The 364 Nailhead runs great with no smoke, it provides a good amount of power and has a nice balanced idle. The Dynaflow transmission has recently been serviced and operates with the smoothness that it's known for. Very solid undercarriage, still showing traces of the factory red oxide primer. The steel used in the perimeter frame alone could create a Hyundai or two.
