Position We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join our West Hartford, CT team. Electronics Technician responsible for test and troubleshooting of electronic products for aerospace applications. Responsibilities •Conduct Acceptance testing of electronic products. •Familiarity with use of ovens and vibration equipment needed to conduct environmental testing of electronics products is required. •Responsible for testing and troubleshooting electronics circuit boards, able to troubleshoot and find root cause to the component level. •Must have experience reading electrical schematics, digital and analog circuitry.
•Soldering experience with mixed technology circuit boards, thru-hole and SMT component types. •Experience using electronics troubleshooting equipment – oscilloscope, digital logic analyzer, function generators, DMM, etc. •Familiar with or previous experience using PC based monitoring programs to conduct product testing (i. e. Labview) Qualifications •5 years minimum technician experience with electronics products •Troubleshooting skills down to component level. •Associates degree or equivalent technical degree with focus on electronics. •Experience with aerospace electronics product testing a plus!
•Flexibility to support 2nd and 3rd bad testing in order to support maximum use of test facilities.
