Assist in teaching clinics for men, women, and juniors. Assist with tennis camp lessons throughout the summer and holiday seasons. Assist in the planning, supervising, and running of racquet events at Desert Mountain. Aid in coaching process by analyzing play in practice, matches, and leagues.
Enhance teaching and instruction through the use of video and other teaching aids. Stay abreast of knowledge and trends in teaching methods and styles, and racquets, paddles, balls and courts (including construction and materials). Off Court: Restring and/or regrip racquets for members and guests, and new demo racquets as needed. Assist in coordinating activities relating to league play (ex. Women’s Interclub Tennis League and Arizona Tennis Association). Perform event evaluations to improve and enhance future events and activities. Promote events, clinics, leagues, and activities by calling members.
Maintain presence amongst the members to promote yourself and the tennis program whenever possible. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Racquet Sports.
