The Opportunity The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applicants for one full-time, 9-month faculty position at the rank of assistant professor (tenure-earning) or associate professor (tenured). The research topics of interest include, but are not limited to,

semiconductor packaging technology, semiconductor heat and power management, cleanroom and microfabrication processes, MEMS, semiconductor device reliability and failure mechanisms, semiconductor manufacturing automation, semiconductor manufacturing process modeling and optimization, statistical process control, scalable nanomanufacturing, and flexible and wearable devices.

The successful candidate is expected to lead multidisciplinary collaborative research efforts to address recent challenges in semiconductor device operation and manufacturing and establish a robust and sustainable undergraduate and graduate education program to train and mentor the next generation of engineers.
