We are currently looking to fill the following Licensed Practical Nurse positions on our Post-Acute Unit: 12-hour Shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM): 72 hours per 2-week pay period 8-hour Shifts (2:45 PM - 11:15 PM): 40 hours per 2-week pay period Limited Per Diem Opportunities We offer the following differentials on top of the hourly rate of pay: Evening $3 per hour Night $5 per hour Weekend $2 per hour (in addition to applicable shift differentials) A sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 is available for LPN positions!
Subject to applicable taxes, the bonus is paid in three installments:
1st after 90 days, 2nd after one year, and 3rd after two years. Bonus recipients must commit to continuous full-time or part-time employment in an eligible position for two years with Porter Medical Center.
Please note that current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus. Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a current, unencumbered, LPN licensure or compact licensure recognized by The State of Vermont required. We also have the capability of providing therapy six days a week if that is what is required to maximize positive results. Nursing staff provide the necessary extension of therapies when therapy staff are not present to provide direct service.
