Responsibilities Develop and execute mechanical design for vehicle interior fittings, seating and convertible bed systems, and interior trim, from conception through prototyping

and production, selecting manufacturing technologies well matched to program volumes and in line with vehicle cost and performance targets. Develop and release design data and documentation to adequately specify subsystem content at RFQ, prototype and production release phases.

Support selection of suppliers and act as primary contact for vehicle interior component suppliers through the DFM, prototyping, and production readiness phases. Plan and carry out component and subsystem level testing to validate designs and identify opportunities for design improvement throughout the phases. Provide input into, and support the execution of system and vehicle level testing as needed. Prior Experience

Job Summary: Raytheon Technologies (RTX) has an opportunity for a Sr. Infrastructure Storage Engineer available to support the next generation of satellite command and control systems for one of our government customers. As part of a team of engineers, the candidate will be responsible for managing storage services in multiple environments as well as providing solutions for storage related issues; must be a strong troubleshooter with experience

in storage issue mitigation as well as prevention. This position may require some on call support and overtime, occasional after-hours availability as required for installation and troubleshooting support.

The candidate should be open to expanding their skill set to include skill sets beyond purely storage as there is need. NOTE: This position will be based out of the RTX Facility in Aurora CO; but some local travel to other sites to support program activities will be required at the following locations: Schriever SFB Colorado Springs; Boulder Colorado, and Buckley SFB in Aurora as required. Responsibilities to Anticipate: You will support storage system troubleshooting and solutions

finding. This includes working with program personnel to ensure solutions are incorporated into the storage configuration.

These solutions would ensure permanent fixes are found for storage related issues You will be responsible for storage configuration of storage upgrades in physical and virtualized environments You will update and maintain Storage Design Documentation You will support & maintain storage configurations for storage devices, including SAN, NAS, and scale-out object storage. Configurations include: The types of storage systems to install, physical and virtualized storage configurations, and how storage is presented to the remainder of the system You will maintain contact with vendors for hardware and software installation and troubleshooting as needed You will work with System Administrators as well as other engineering personnel for implementation of storage configurations Basic Qualifications: U.

S. citizenship and current DOD-TS or TS/SCI Security Clearance is required, as only U. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience Experience with storage configuration on physical and virtualized storage environments Experience with enterprise backup architecture, emphasizing Cohesity backup solutions Thorough background in on premise and virtualized infrastructure data center systems design Experience Linux System Administration.

Hands on experience scripting skills (i. e.
