Job Summary: This position provides Subject Matter Expertise and support to the US Army Reserve Command (USARC) CIO/G-6 for Tactical Command and Control Communications and Computers (TAC/C4) Readiness Services. USARC CIO/G-6 has the mission of ensuring Mission Command and Signal Readiness in support of USAR’s Operational Forces. This mission includes full range of support for Mission Command and Signal Readiness, Exercise Planning and Frequency and Spectrum Management. The focus of this effort

is on this operational mission that involves close coordination with the USARC G-3/5/7 in order to synchronize unit modernization, training, and mission life cycles with the Army’s Regionally Aligned Readiness and Modernization Model (Re ARMM) process.

Job Responsibilities: Conduct travel (CONUS) up to 50% annually for the purpose of supporting exercise and training events. Participate in the following exercise or training events: MCAT 1 - Mission Command backssment Team (MCAT) coordination Teams meeting conducted prior to a Combat Training Center (CTC) rotation or other Collective Training Exercise Program (CTEP) event to assist units in determining support requirements, coordinate follow-on missions, discuss the Mission Command Systems (MCS) checklists, and discuss readiness challenges.

MCAT 2 – conducted to baseline the unit’s mission command networks and systems readiness and training based on guided unit self backssment MCS Checklists prior to a CTC rotation or CTEP event; with a plan of action developed to address any deficient areas via RAVs IOT prepare the unit for the formal MCAT 3 backssment and/or their next CTC rotation or CTE. MCAT 3 – MCAT-led mission command networks and systems readiness and training backssment executed prior to the unit’s CTC rotation or CTEP event in order to provide a formal backssment of The unit’s training and readiness posture to the unit commander and develop of plan of action to address any deficient areas.

Prepare a pre-mission brief outlining planned support and personnel assigned to the mission. Assemble with your team and conduct initial mission planning meeting. Provide over-the-shoulder training on assigned LOE during MCAT mission based on unit needed. Attend planning events, training, and exercises to observe and record unit's Observations, Insights and Lessons Learned (OILs) regarding their communications capabilities and shortfalls.

Produce and maintain briefings and other products required to provide a comprehensive understanding/view of MCAT Mission and function as the subject matter expert for everything MCAT. Prepare an After-Action Report (AAR) and post-mission brief for USARC CIO/G-6 Leadership detailing the results of the MCS evaluation and the unit’s way ahead to correct deficiencies; complete AAR and brief no-later- than (NLT) five (5) business days at the conclusion of a MCAT mission. Minimum Qualifications: Must possess an active Do D Secret clearance for consideration.

The Mission Command backssment Team (MCAT) as a whole must provide the necessary expertise to cover the specific Lines of Effort (LOE) discussed below, with each member of the team providing the necessary expertise to cover two to three LOEs. Each team member shall possess: A bachelor’s degree in either Information Technology or Business Administration from a college or university that is accredited by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U. S. Department of Education. Seven (7) or more years of G-6/S-6 operations experience. Five (5) or more years of experience in battalion through theater-level tactical and operational network planning and operations.

Experience/knowledge of tactical MC Network and Information Systems discussed herein this PWS. Must have a thorough understanding of MCS hardware/ software troubleshooting, testing, and integration. Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools (i. e. Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point, Info Path, and Visio). Extensive knowledge of G-6/S-6 staff processes and procedures. Experience in analyzing and organizing information using Microsoft Office or other Army tools according to user’s needs. Extensive background in preparing briefings, reports, and other data products to be presented to Commanders and staff.

Experience leading a team of employees in research of different practices and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency. Experience of preparing surveys and collecting customer feedback after services were provided. In addition, the Mission Command backssment Team (MCAT) Team Member shall possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant and recent experience to support at least three (3) or more (preferably) of the following Lines of Effort (LOE) listed below: G-6/S-6 Staff & Signal Processes, Network Management: Five (5) years’ experience in Staff & Signal Processes to include experience Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) development, Signal Planning, and observations, insights and lessons (OILs).

Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (Net Ops); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.

The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate

around the globe 24x7x365. Cloud Systems Engineer perform tier three windows system support within AWS in both NIPR and SIPR networks. The Engineer is responsible for ensuring that AWS instances are built and secured to meet DISA STIG security and mission requirements.

The Cloud Systems Engineer will construct cloud based servers work with networking during implementation and rollout. The Engineer is responsible for working with Exchange Administrators to configure Office 365 environments.
