Essential Duties: Smile, it is part of the job! You smile, they smile! Repeatedly g reet and engage students, providing verbal instruction to achieve portrait posing standards for a prolonged period of time.
Perform routine visual inspections of individual students. Using an eye for detail , instruct students to style themselves for high quality portraits. Ex: fixing hair, straightening clothes, wiping face clean etc. Use a tailored approach in drawing out smiles and personalities from camera shy students as needed. Apply training provided to ensure portraits are captured without glass glare. Report all lack of functionality of any equipment to Picture Day Lead. Perform photography duties
in both indoor and outdoor environments. Treat all equipment with great care, ensuring equipment is returned in the same condition it was received.
Travel to a variety of schools throughout San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange and LA Counties for outdoor and indoor Picture Day Photography Events. Operate camera equipment while standing for prolonged periods of time. Set up and tear down photography equipment at the start and end of each picture day event, working together as a team until completion. Required skills/abilities include: Willingness to be trained Ability to verbally build fast rapport with elementary age school children Experience working with elementary age children is a plus A ble to set up / teardown camera stations, operate simple mechanical devices (tripods, stands, etc.
