day, you are out in the field completing appealing, high-quality paint jobs.
Alongside your team, you prepare surfaces for the work by sanding the area and removing old paint. As needed, you fill in holes and cracks to ensure you have a smooth area to work on. n After taping off your work area, you then evenly paint the surface. When you finish a project, you diligently clean up the area and pick up all your equipment, leaving the space looking better than you found it. to for an experienced Automotive Painter to perform paint work for custom manufactured concession trailers for the fair and festival industry. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the automotive paint and body industries with ex perience in mixing and spraying Axalta paint materials.
Job Responsibilities: Sanding and surface prep for painting. Disassembling vehicles and reassembling vehicles as needed for paint. Performing all body work, as needed. Mixing and spraying Axalta paint products. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in an automotive paint environment. Extensive knowledge in repairing and automotive
body work. Mechanical aptitude. Use of air and electric hand tools.
Experience in a manufacturing setting and commercial environment. Must be a problem solver. Preferred Skills: Experience with Axalta paint products spraying and mixing paints. Spraying paint using pressure pots/Gravity Guns. Welding Mig/Tig. Spraying bedliner products, Scorpion/Linex type materials. Physical Requirements: Physical ability to stand up to 8+ hours per day. Physically able to climb in and out of trailers, scaffolding and ladders. Ability to lift & carry up to 75 lbs. Some travel may be required for on-site assistance/repair.
