Major Duties/Responsibilities: : Work proficiently in software programs including Adobe In Design, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and 3D modeling programs such as Blender and 3Ds Max. Illustrate scientific research by collaborating with scientists and researchers to understand and communicate complex subject matter through clear and effective design solutions, with visualization and illustration for journal covers and

stories a priority. Work closely with communications leads and internal customers graphics expertise to produce timely and visually effective communications tools for distribution to internal and external stakeholders including coworkers and peers, industry, academia, government sponsors, and the public at large.

Participate in planning for and production of significant deliverables, such as dynamic presentations, art for digital platforms (website, social media), fact sheets, reports and other publications, brochures, digital signage, posters, infographics, objects, renderings, and collateral for high: profile visits. Prioritize requests, coordinate and schedule workflow, and facilitate

production with printers or other vendors to meet tight, demanding deadlines and ensure cost: effectiveness while maintaining contact with communications leads and customers.

Occasionally develop large: scale exhibit and display materials. Ensure compliance with environment, safety, health, and quality program requirements. Maintain a strong commitment to the implementation and perpetuation of values and ethics. Follow internal review processes to ensure highest quality products. Engage with team members in all areas of the communications process and contribute to the overall mission. Basic Qualifications: : A bachelor's degree in art, graphic design, or related field with a minimum of 5:7 years of experience. Preferred Qualifications: : Science: based work experience. The successful candidate must have excellent attention to detail; the ability to understand, follow, and implement complex instructions; strong organizational skills, including the flexibility to handle multiple assignments for multiple customers simultaneously; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to visualize and illustrate original, complex designs.

AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Immerse parts in solution or wash surfaces to remove grease, rust, scale, and dirt. Set up and operate painting equipment to coat metal products with lacquer, paint, varnish, enamel, oil, or rust proofing material: Prepare metal surfaces for painting, and paint equipment using brushes, spray guns, sanders, and rollers.

Mix chemicals and paints, fill tanks, control viscosity, thinner, and chemicals to mixture. Determine flow and viscosity of paints and quality of coating visually or by use of viscometer. Operate spray guns, position nozzles to direct spray onto work piece, and regulate air pressure in spray guns that atomize spray. Verify correct paint colors by reading

building prints and designs. Strip, sand, mask, and repaint surfaces, blend and polish finish to match surrounding areas, manually or using portable power tools.

Spray foam insulation and undercoating as required in buildings. May use a full-face ventilation mask for extended periods of time. Spray specified amount or thickness of primer, protective, decorative, or finish coatings, such as paint, lacquer, sealer, or enamel, onto prepared surfaces, using spray equipment. May operate lifting and moving devices to move materials and equipment and access areas to be painted. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Three years of prior industrial painting experience. Forklift certification

or ability to obtain certification. Flexibility and ability to work cooperative with other team members under production pressure.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, work on ladders at heights and lift to 100 lbs. Must be able to work in enclosed spaces and extreme heat for extended periods of time. Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
