OEMs, Customers, and internal personnel, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of YANMAR products. Position Summary: As a TSR, you will be the primary point of contact for technical inquiries related to our Industrial Engine, Construction, Agriculture, and UTV business segments.
Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, diagnosing technical issues, and providing expert advice to dealers and customers. The TSR will document and manage technical inquiries in our CRM system and collaborate with other members of the Service Department to deliver world-class customer support. Job Functions: Provide technical support and guidance to dealers, recommending repair and maintenance
methods. Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Case management, and Technical Publications to research technical solutions. Use remote monitoring technology to identify and solve problems with YANMAR machines in the field.
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, recommending actions for equipment repair. Facilitate the development and implementation of maintenance strategies with dealers. Advise dealers on YANMAR's Warranty policy and procedures. Update Salesforce with customer-facing technical support activities. Support Business Development Managers and Aftermarket sales team with technical knowledge. Continuously improve customer service and support activities. Stay up to date on the
complete YANMAR product line and electronic diagnostic tools.
Build technical knowledge through planned visits to dealers, customers, and tradeshows. Competencies: Technical Knowledge and Skills Customer Focus Problem Solving Continuous Learning Critical Interfaces: All levels of employees at YANMAR America and key Yanmar Japan employees. Distributors & Dealers Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of Agriculture, Construction, or Industrial engine service trade practices. Familiarity with diesel engines, construction equipment, and electronic and hydraulic controls. Collaborative working style with strong ability to establish and maintain relationships.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Functional experience with Microsoft Office programs and CRM systems. Time management and organizational skills. Ability to travel domestically and internationally (10% average). Job Qualifications: Associates degree or 2-year technical certification/degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a technical/diagnostic role. 2 years of call center or face-to-face experience in a customer service role preferred but not required. Additional Requirements: Position based in Adairsville, GA.
Ability to work 8+ hours per day in a plant/office setting. Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds. Regular and reliable attendance is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
