Barbaricum is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide support to an existing program augmenting the Maneuver, Surveillance and Engagement Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane. This new effort will develop sustainable hardware and software solutions for rapid integration of components and systems, which will include the centralization of a counter-UAS common operating picture to protect assets in the National Capital Region.
Qualifications Active Do D Secret Clearance 7+ years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer networks Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or Mathematics with concentration in Computer Science (Master's preferred) Proficient in C, C++, and Java Extensive Linux experience (with C, C++, Java) Tactical networking experience Experience with Simulation environments (NGTS, AFSIM, others) and data standards (DIS, HLA) Possess ONE of the following active certifications: Comp TIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, Cy SA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP, CSSLP, CISSP, ECSP or SECURE C++ Desired Qualifications Python coding capability Experience with Enhanced Battlespace Reconnaissance, Intelligence, and Surveillance Software (EBRISS) Core (ECORE) Additional Information For more information about Barbaricum, please visit our website at.
