They will work on an initiative called Minnesota Million (MM) - a vision to reforest

This initiative includes a new dedicated effort to increase and improve the quality of tree seeds and seedlings available in Minnesota. The Coordinator will assist with administration of a newly-awarded $5M USDA Partnerships for Climate Smart Commodities grant (" Climate Smart Seedling Production Network" ) designed to promote higher quality tree seed collection and tree stock production in the state of MN. The Coordinator will be critical in the launch of this new program.
