This position is entrusted with a high level of responsibility and is the single point of accountability for all aspects of project execution. Primary Duties and Responsibilities This list does not reflect the job duties in their entirety. 1. Manage the construction and contribute to
the planning, engineering, procurement, and start-up of multiple capital projects. Manage project scope, cost, time, risk, quality, procurement, communications and human resources to drive project execution and meet project objectives.
2. Effectively plan, organize, and coordinate the work of a project team and be accountable for project performance measured by safety, schedule, financial, and operating goals. 3. Thoroughly understand the project business cases. This includes, as necessary, contributing to the development of varying solutions or scope options for comparison, economic analysis, and development of non-economic project justification. 4. Manage project communications, including
identifying project stakeholders, facilitating regular project team meetings; delivering presentations; resolving and/or escalating issues.
5. Report on cost, schedule, status, and critical items which may materially affect project performance. Project Engineer II and III Duties - Entry Level Duties Plus Additional Responsibilities We’re Looking for Someone With: • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a college/university accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET). • At least one year of engineering experience • Must maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. • Experience managing large construction projects preferred.
Project Engineer II experience requirements: 3 years of engineering experience, with 2 years of work directly related to the duties and responsibilities of this position. Project Engineer III experience requirements: 5 years of engineering experience, with 3 years of work directly related to duties and responsibilities of this position.
