In this role you will effectively define the overall scope of work or design new solutions for various projects (e. g. concepts, budget, justification, and design phase via planning, risk analysis, resource identification, implementation, commissioning, closing, etc. ), manage financial account for spending and project development. You will also serve as the liaison between clients (e. g. quality stakeholders) and contractors

(e. g. vendors and operators), and facilitate meetings with various personnel (at all levels) for project proposals and establish strong, professional relationships with vendors/suppliers and others to ensure that projects are proceeding according to schedule.

About you ABOUT YOU: You have a bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, manufacturing,

industrial, or chemical) or other relevant science, required. A Project Management certificate or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.

You have 2 - 3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment (preferred) and at least 5 years of experience with engineering systems design (preferred). Experience within a food or dairy processing environment is preferred. You are mechanically and technically inclined. You are proficient in the use of computer programs such as MS Office, MS Project, Auto CAD, Solid Works, and Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD, preferred. You have experience with the project management process, total quality management (TQM), and six sigma / continuous improvement, required.

TPM experience is preferred. You have knowledge of integrated automation and control technology and highspeed packaging systems design. You have experience developing plans within regulatory compliance (e. g. OSHA, FDA) You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are proactive and professional and able to take direction effectively. You have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints. You have established project management skills and knowledge of the project management process, tools and tasks associated with preparation and execution of capital projects, financial and analytical skills, and are able to lead multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities.

You have the ability to rapidly backss, analyze, and quickly resolve complicated problems with little initial information or direction and with varying degrees of ambiguity. You have the leadership, interpersonal communication and self-management skills required to interact and work collaboratively with all levels of plant personnel and are comfortable working with minimal supervision. Projects may include master planning and site development, site evaluation and feasibility studies, site utilities and stormwater management, detailed design and construction documents, and bidding and construction phase services. This is a full-time position. Occasional evening work may be required as job duties

demand. A hybrid work-from-home and/or in-office work plan after evaluation. REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience: 10+ years Certifications: PE or other relevant certification Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and computer aided design and other industry-based software is required. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical and creative thinking. Excellent leadership and organizational skills in a team-oriented environment. Exceptional presentation skill. RESPONSIBILITIES Train, lead and mentor planning, design, engineering, technical and construction associates. Present as subject matter expert for specialized area. Provide oversight related to the scope, schedule, and budget for backssment, planning, design and capital improvement projects. Perform and administer complex planning, design and engineering work requiring an exceptional level of professional training and experience. Perform long-term budget and capacity planning. Develop, implement and maintain planning, design and engineering standards, including standard specifications and drawings.

Identify project risks and monitor/mitigate risk throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate and regularly communicate with Project Manager and other project staff on status of work, deliverables, schedule, and budgets. Establish and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing clients; participate in client events, tradeshows and industry associations; prepare technical white papers for industry associations; participate in public meetings and deliver presentations as requested. TRAVEL Travel is primarily local during the business day. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
