As a Project Engineer Vehicles at HNTB, you have a full breadth of knowledge of vehicle engineering and continue to apply and expand your design and functional knowledge base of Rail and Transit vehicle systems.
You will apply what you know to assist in developing critical performance characteristics of systems, maintenance requirements and issues that are associated with the lifecycle of rail and transit vehicles. You will lead teams working on Rail and Transit
projects that involve fleet capital investment, maintenance and operations, design and overhaul, forensic science, and other engineering applications. Performance of the work will be a combination of team and individual effort.
Some work will be in the field while some will be office-based. A Project Engineer Vehicles will work independently and support the mentoring and development of junior staff. A Project Engineer Vehicles will be self-guided and will continue to develop a full portfolio of expertise to grow within HNTB. What You'll Do: Responsible for the planning and distribution of discipline-specific work, and adherence the to the schedule and budget on projects. Assists in marketing
responsibilities, including proposal generation. Assists with the development of scope of work and level of effort for projects and/or assignments within discipline.
Oversees completeness and accuracy of project team's work within the technical discipline. Guides and mentors team to overall project objectives. Coordinates technical aspects of project with client counterpart and teaming partners at staff level for work within the discipline. Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. Programmer is responsible for developing all aspects of statistical programming deliverables for the analysis of clinical study data in accordance with departmental SOPs and guidelines.
