The main function of a software engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work. A typical software engineer researches,
designs, develops and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific and general computing applications.
Responsibilities Modify existing databases and database management systems. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions. Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations. Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.

We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team in Redmond, WA. This role is full-time in-office. The pay range is 68k-78k/year. Primary Function: The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting multi-disciplinary engineering project teams in a wide array of projects. This role involves interaction with internal Sigma Design Engineers and Technical Leads during the product development life cycle
of a project. Depending on business needs, the Project Coordinator will assist one or more project teams at a time with BOM generation, project data management, report generation, project metrics (burn rate, expenditures, labor hours, etc.
) and other project related activities. Given the hands-on nature of the role, remote work is not authorized. Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities: Support multidisciplinary project teams of engineers and other support staff in complex development projects. Works with Functional leads to establish aggressive but realistic project timelines and milestones. Define project requirements, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and the desired end result.
Assist with design reviews and the generation of reports, meeting minutes, slides, and action items.

Make certain that any regulatory, compliance, quality standards, and safety standards that apply are met.
