As a Controls Technical Specialist I, you ll be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing the accuracy, reliability and system control s data credibility of PLC and PC-based automation systems.

In this role, you will oversee PLC upgrades and wiring modifications on production equipment and work directly with our maintenance team to troubleshoot and support production line modifications. Configure, program, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)Perform

Preventive Maintenance for controls and organize electrical/control parts inventory Provide programming and electrical support on plant capital projects Implement control systems software upgrade Provides instrumentation, PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support to plant maintenance staff Assist with training of maintenance personnel REQUIREMENTSAssociate s Degree in a technical discipline AND 1+ years of applicable experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI-systems ORHigh School Diploma/ GED equivalent AND 3+ years of applicable experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting and/or PLC-based HMI-systems The approximate pay range for this position

is $61,000 to $83,000.

Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with architects to maintain and drive technical product roadmap. Assist development leadership with roadmap planning and estimation. Work with the development team to estimate feature development stories and establish consensus on deliverable commitments. Lead and mentor other developers in technology, best practices and successful project delivery. Consult with clients and collaborate with business analysts to determine functional requirements and converts those to both requirements and design specifications.

Perform tasks in. NET, C#, Microsoft SQL, Java Script, and Contact Center toolsets & telephony IVR solutions. Adhere to development procedures and coding uniformity within’ Azure Dev Ops. Collaborate with other developers to perform peer reviews and quality assurance. Participate in and develop test plans, test cases, and test data sets that validate functional requirements and the delivery of successful software. Analyze test results, and identify, document, and report root causes for test failures and resolve with the development team.

Make recommendations to improve software reliability, performance, and quality assurance best practices and processes. Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget. Must have the ability to operate with minimal supervision and effectively communicate with both internal and external customers. Ability to balance both support and project work; able to meet project milestones. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT related field required Minimum 7 years of experience in application development on the Microsoft Platform, including.
