Job summary Responsible for using equipment for the assembly and processing tasks to produce finished products according to established specifications. in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: Operates production equipment to produce subassemblies or finished products.
Interprets instructions and specifications and uses to set up equipment. Checks products on assembly line to confirm that they are properly assembled and removes defective products. Cleans and maintains equipment as needed. Notify supervisor of maintenance and/or repairs needed on equipment. Prepares accurate records/documentation related to quality and work in progress. Troubleshoots minor production problems. High school diploma, G. E. D. or equivalent
skills, experience, or training. Generally, Requires 2-4 Years Work Experience Willing to work the night shift Computer skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills. Statistical and analytical problem-solving ability. Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages. Strong background in math or science, SPC skills, and/or post high school is desirable. Ability to use measuring devices such as micrometers, scales and balances, calculators, tachometers, computer, and Instron test units. ' Knowledge of extrusion or molding operations desirable. Ability to work independently without continues supervision Ability to use basic hand tools.
General inspection skills. Ability to maintain accurate records. Capable of innovative thinking to resolve problems and recommend corrective actions.
