Job Description Shift Hours : 6:00pm-6:00am, 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off (schedule repeats week to week) 12-Hour Shift Compensation : $22.34/hr Plus Shift differential $2.00 The Machine Operator 2 is responsible for : The Bag Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the bag lines to
safely deliver the highest quality products at the best efficiency and lowest scrap possible through the use of effective manufacturing methods. Day-to-day, you can find yourself working on: Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality Responsible for packing good quality bags into box, capping, and applying tubes as needed, helical insertion, and applying splice tape on helical bags and two out machines, as per bag specifications from a standing position with breaks every two hours.
Responsible to ensure that box and tote counts are accurate as per the bag specification. Responsible for pushing box of bags (approximately 70 to 75 pounds) from packers’ conveyor to box conveyor.
Ensure that quality standards are upheld and that any suspect or defective product is reported to the Shift Leader to be appropriately destroyed or placed on hold for the Quality Facilitator’s review and decision.
Work as a valuable team member throughout the production room to accomplish the business goals: Help operators as needed (including cleaning machines and PM’s) Help other Inspector/Packers if needed when machine is down. Learn to pack all bag specifications and at all machines. Assist and work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and technical resources to ensure that issues are being addressed to optimize the performance of the line. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvements.
Complete all documentation accurately. Ask for help when the need arises. Train new Inspector/Packers in the proper evaluation and packing of bags in accordance with Key Operating Procedures Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Specific skills: Basic computer skills. Direct Hire Job Summary: In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and functionality of equipment such as boilers, chillers, air handlers, compressors, plumbing, pneumatic hydraulics, and refrigeration systems. Operate cutting/burning torches for metal fabrication and cutting tasks. Assist in maintaining and improving equipment reliability through preventive maintenance programs. Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning projects. Collaborate with the maintenance team to diagnose and address complex mechanical and electrical issues. Conduct inspections to identify potential equipment failures and safety hazards. Ensure compliance with safety regulations
and company standards during all maintenance activities. Use power industrial training and electrical skills for equipment servicing and troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot and diagnose PLC systems to resolve equipment malfunctions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, parts used, and equipment condition. Qualifications: High School Diploma or its equivalency in experience and/or training. Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills are essential. Welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick) is useful. Experience with cutting/burning torches is desired. Power Industrial Training Certification is a plus. Electrical and PLC diagnostics experience is helpful. Prior industrial bakery and/or food processing plant experience is a plus.

Will Perform: Safely provide maintenance support to our fast-paced sheet plant that is equipped with technology ranging from simple to state of the art for the corrugated industry. Utilize both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) and electrical/electronic skills and knowledge (PLCs, A/C, D/C motors and drives, schematics) in our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve machine uptime metrics.
Work positively with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems. Will be engaged in preventative maintenance processes in assigned areas. The Skills You Will Bring: At least one year
