Non-exempt Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work at a fast moving and consistent manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned. Read blue prints and orders. Frame and Decking floors. Lay Linoleum. Rough end plumbing. Read and use a tape measure. Attach floors to frames. Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools Qualifications Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some experience

Job Description Job Title: Plant Maintenance Worker FLSA Status: Non-exempt Summary Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Schedule maintenance in a manner that will not hinder the production team from meeting their scheduled timelines. Coordinates repairs in a timely manner to assist the production team in meeting their scheduled timelines.
Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment. May be required to perform non-maintenance duties on a temporary basis. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
