will apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, and other structures.
Additional responsibilities: Filling nail holes, cracks, and joints with putty plaster Smoothing surfaces, using sandpaper, brushes, or steel wool Removing old paint from surfaces using paint remover, scraper, wire brush, or blowtorch to prepare surfaces for painting Painting surfaces using brushes, spray gun, or paint rollers Simulating wood grain, marble, brick, tile or other special effects with cloth, brush, or sponge Erecting scaffolding or setting up ladders safely to perform tasks above ground level Simply
