finished product Enter accurate tracking information into Alpha sewing database Perform basic daily maintenance on sewing equipment such as monitoring oil levels, needle position, looper and needle points, thread tension, presser foot and throat plate Perform work duties in the stamping process as directed.
Proficient in placing work-in process in the correct storage bins Essential Skills Required: This position requires knowledge of sewing, equipment operation, trouble shooting, basic repairs, data entry, ability to identify quality defects and solutions, and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization. Inspects each machine daily and size daily. Strives to upgrade machines and maintains them at peak performance.
Responsible for efficiency, quality and waste reduction of area. Performs preventative maintenance on machines. Keeps machine blown off and cleaned, informs supervisor of any maintenance problems. Constantly performs inspection of knitting machines to determine whether repairs or adjustments are needed. Repair knitting machines when mechanical failure occurs. Inspect quality after repair
of each machine. Document repair and maintenance activities. Responsible for general housekeeping of machines. Adhere to company policies, including attendance and punctuality.
