DENTAL,401K, LIFEThe key responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician are to troubleshoot and repair robotic and CNC equipment as well as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems. Additional responsibilities include participating in predictive and preventative maintenance programs.

The Maintenance Technician will also assist in developing effective preventative maintenance programs, determining root cause of equipment failures and implementing permanent corrective repairs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and JOB DUTIES: Follow all safety procedures including proper use of PPE. Perform trouble shooting and repair of CNC equipment, Automated Gauges and robotic systems. Maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment, Automated Gauges and robotic systems. Perform troubleshooting and repairs on Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems.

Perform general repairs around the shop. Maintains and repairs industrial equipment, which may include welding, fabrication and machining. Support Continuous Improvement processes throughout the plant. Participate in problem solving events. Participate in professional development as needed. Use and understand the lock out, tag out procedure. Safely operate fork truck. Support the Plant 5S strategy. Display Knowledge of Lifting and Rigging Safely use ladders and personnel lifting equipment. Maintains

safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Performs all work in accordance with MFC, OSHA and other applicable safety regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines. QUALIFICATION and EDUCATION: 3 - 5 years' experience in maintenance of automated equipment High School Diploma required Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals schematics and parts diagrams. Ability to work independently or within a team environment. Must be willing to work overtime when required. This job reports to the Controller. Essential Functions: Maintains a perpetual inventory on all maintenance materials, determines where items may be obtained, secures price quotations, compares prices, and completes requisition forms and purchase orders for those materials or supplies needed.

Secures all needed materials on a timely basis. Verifies items, upon receipt, for discrepancies. Delivers various office supplies and equipment as requested by designated staff. Monitors and performs periodic audits on maintenance inventory. In turn, preparing

periodic maintenance parts forecasts, dollars budgeted versus dollars spent. Executes contractual agreements for the purchase of equipment and required services.

Arranges for Company or outside truck carriers to conform with materials on timely basis. Enter information from the receivers into the PO Receipt program to be later used by Accounts Payable. Also, verifies quantity and price when asked by Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies. Enter vendor data, new & changes, after approval by Accounting Manager or Controller. Additional duties may be required. Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned Skills or Experience Required: High School Diploma plus three (3) years of

Must be able to wear all required PPE when in the plant. Must have accurate and fast data entry abilities.

are now upside down. Also, be able to recognize when the pusher is jammed and be able to clear the stuck forging. 2. When blowing off finished parts and making sure the machined surfaces are clean of any dirt smudges or chips and be alert to any possible broken tools or forging defects.

3. If scrap if noticed during Step 2, be able to know how to switch the lathe from Automatic to Manual so more scrap is not made and alert the operator of the issue. 4. Be able recognize the alarms and warning lights and know how to recover. 5. While an operator has a lathe down for tool change, help him keep the rest of the cell up and running. This means, keep the other finished parts conveyors caught

up and help pack off the finished parts into the finished goods basket. NOTE: when dipping and packing into the finished basket the operator is required to wear gloves.

6. Work with the operators on each line to help fill coolant at some point during you shift. 7. Don't get caught up " Over" helping on one line and not help out as much on the other two. 8. At the end of the shift help the operators with cell cleanup.
