Monitor and adjust equipment as necessary and permittable to ensure safe and efficient operation. Work cooperatively with all employees and leadership to meet plant/shift objectives Maintain and improve level of housekeeping in work area and facility. Completes
all required paperwork accurately and legibly. Operate various pieces of equipment including but not limited to lamination equipment, packaging equipment, forklifts, palletizers, basic hand tools.
Use computer controls to operate equipment. Participates in continuous improvement projects, and Kaizen events. Rotates to other work functions as required by process flow. CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT Work in a fast-paced production environment where safety, accuracy and speed are essential. Simultaneous competing priorities require effective and efficient multi-tasking to succeed. Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs. and walk throughout work day. Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment.
Work with minimal supervision. Use of production equipment, material handling equipment, and hand tools.

Specifications (WPS) and blueprints. We are currently seeking both manual and robotic welders of all skill-sets. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Setup, adjust, and operate welding equipment as specified by the WPS Examine welds for correct size and location with conformance to blueprint requirements Remove and/or repair existing welds to meet quality acceptance criteria Ability to layout, position, and fixture work pieces together consistently Perform welds in any position using GMAW welding process Tack assemblies together so that tacks are consumed by welds.
Inspect weld size and location, and verify critical dimensions with the use of blueprints. Setup equipment, select welding
gas and filler material, and adjust amperage and polarity for use with various base metals. Review WPS to determine equipment settings, and apply knowledge of GTAW welding process.
Education & Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training and one to two years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment. Must pass SCC pre-employment weld and math test. Ability to read and interpret documents such as layouts, moderately complex blueprints, weld symbols and/or specifications, sketches. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and circumference. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra
and geometry. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Requires the ability to operate various equipment to include welding equipment, forklift, hoists, riggings, and various hand and power tools. Maintain continuous check to ensure product quality and accuracy. Maintain a clean machine and an orderly and safe work area around assigned machine. Perform operator adjustments and maintenance on packaging equipment as instructed. Report all material, product and labor data for work center as required.
