Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent in this position serves as the Distributed Computer Systems Consultant for the FDVA and is tasked with transitioning Infrastructure from on-premise to the Cloud.
Configures and supports Cloud solutions for HQ, 13 large and many remote sites. Ensures 99.99% uptime. Recommends industry standard Iaa S, Paa S, and wireless solutions to replace infrastructure hardware and configures all these items that might be a mixed vendor ecosystem. Configures and deploys Juniper switches across the state. Configures MFA and SSO for all applications and users who traverse the FDVA network. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position: Forward thinking individual with a passion for innovation and emerging technologies possessing the ability to digitally transform an antiquated ecosystem.
Listens to what other people say and asks questions to backss and fit gaps needed for digital transformation. Analyzing needs and product requirements to create designs. Conducts tests to determine whether equipment, software, or procedures are operating as expected. Transitions environment to a Cloud-native Dev Sec Ops architecture applying critical thinking, identifying long-term implications, implementation planning, equipment selection, and coordination training session agency wide.
Ability to mentor fellow IT members appropriately. Ability to: Plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments; process information logically, troubleshoot and solve problems; work collaboratively or independently; communicate clearly-orally and in writing; display professional attitude in all circumstances; learn in a fast-paced environment; pay attention to detail; analyze and interpret technical data; act as a project technical stakeholder contributing to research and documentation.

The Government Operations I (Training Coordinator) is responsible for the training of new and existing staff of the Florida Department of Health in Lake County (DOH-Lake) The Training Coordinator will ensure staff is in compliance with mandatory trainings and provide on-going backssment of training completion results.
Conducts organizational classroom, web-based trainings (workshops, new employee orientation, employee conferences or special meetings), using instructor-led and/or alternative delivery format such as teleconferencing, webinar or other online learning platforms.
