The Government Operations I (Training Coordinator) is responsible for the training of new and existing staff of the Florida Department of Health in Lake County (DOH-Lake) The Training Coordinator will ensure staff is in compliance with mandatory trainings and provide on-going backssment of training completion results.

Conducts organizational classroom, web-based trainings (workshops, new employee orientation, employee conferences or special meetings), using instructor-led and/or alternative delivery format such as teleconferencing, webinar or other online learning platforms. Candidate must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Maintain

clearinghouse for research, statistical and training data. Performs related work as required. Qualifications: Minimum – Willing to work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.

This may include working in a special needs or Red Cross shelter, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural. Verifiable experience speaking in public and presenting information to large and smalls groups.
