Developing, writing, and implementation of health and safety programs and procedures. Areas of focus may include machine guarding, confined space, respiratory protection, electrical safety, and fall protection, among others. Prepare and review corporate and site-specific written programs, risk backssments,
and other health and safety program elements. Developing and presenting health and safety training modules. Experience with e-learning development would be beneficial.
Conducting needs backssments for potential occupational exposures in research and development labs. Conducting risk backssments, accident investigation and root cause analyses, environmental and IH-related sampling, and health and safety auditing in a research and development environment. Provide resources to research and development teams on safety and health regulations and best practices during both the design phase and implementation phase of new products and testing or trial procedures. Monitoring, revising and
implementing updates in safety regulations, laws and reporting requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, engineering, occupational health, environmental health or equivalent relevant experience in the health and safety field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the EHS industry. Industry certifications such as CSP, CIH or CHMM (or near-term ability to obtain) are a plus. Experience in a laboratory environment is a plus. Must understand OSHA regulations in addition to state-specific regulations and their applicability. Further understanding of additional regulations is a plus (NFPA, DOT / IATA, ANSI). Exemplary organizational, written and verbal communication skills, a must.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments concurrently, including but not limited to, project management, compliance assurance, risk mitigation, and injury prevention. Ability to work independently, with an attention to details. Must be proficient with multiple technological platforms. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future. Compliance with any client requirements, including but not limited to COVID-19 vaccine mandates Potential employees must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, pre-employment drug screening (as permitted by law), and baseline physical (safety sensitive roles).

Occasional stooping (bending body downward and forward), kneeling (bending legs at knee), crouching (bending body downward and forward) and climbing Frequent lifting (including push/pull, hold/carry) of light, moderate and possibly heavy weight objects Subject to hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, including but not limited to: proximity to moving vehicles, parts or equipment; exposure to chemicals; pressure (including noise); electrical hazards; biological hazards; excavation/trenching; confined spaces; elevated work; materials handling May be required to wear an air purifying respirator COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThe annual salary range for this position is $100K - $115K.
