work experience and other individualized factors JOB SUMMARY Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.
) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements 21+ years of age. Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen. License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL)
with a clean driving record. Ability to read, write and communicate in English. Touch freight - may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds.

-----Key Responsibilities Maintains and operates company assigned vehicles according to State and Federal DOT/DMV standards regarding safe transportation of non-hazardous and hazardous---materials including proper HAZMAT placarding when required. -- Responsible for general maintenance on company assigned tractors, trailers, and forklifts which may include but is not limited to replenishing fuel, checking
and replenishing fluid levels, tire wear and air pressure monitoring, monitor vehicles general operational systems, assisting location manager with scheduling state inspection requirements, maintaining and scheduling routine service and maintenance, keeping inside and outside of vehicle clean and presentable.
----- Maintains accurate pre and post trip driver's logs and inspection sheets according to State and Federal DOT requirements. ----- Operates warehouse forklift, prepares product for delivery, securely loads product on the truck for delivery to customer locations following company required safety procedures at all times.
