Specific Job Responsibilities: Develop Custom Measure Packages Support regular working group meetings to develop statewide standard protocols for common custom measures, following the Cal TF Custom Measure Characterization Template. Develop draft Measure Characterizations and update as needed based on stakeholder input through working groups, Custom Subcommittee and TF meetings, and ad hoc feedback.

Review, Update, Test, and Document Calculation Tools Review existing calculation tools to determine whether the tool requires updates. Update tools and/or support tool updates to incorporate changes identified and affirmed through the tool review process. Perform tests to ensure tools are functional, technically accurate, easy to use, and consistent. Develop and/or update clear and concise tool manuals that describe methods, use, and future update requirements. Support Cal TF Working Groups Perform data collection, analysis, and documentation to support working groups activities Perform additional stakeholder outreach as needed to ensure appropriate stakeholder engagement and to build consensus on working group solutions and work products.

Position Summary This Grid Innovation Engineer will play a central role in defining the technology roadmap for community microgrids at PG&E and will provide technical support to community stakeholders and local and tribal governments considering critical facility microgrid projects. This execution-oriented candidate will collaborate with PG&E technical subject matter experts and external vendors to develop standard microgrid solutions and documentation and provide technical leadership to drive execution of inflight and planned projects.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. Work location will be determined by hiring leader and successful candidate. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. Position Summary This entry-level job is represented by Engineers and Scientists of California (ESC) subject to collective bargaining. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location 3 days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). The assigned work location will

be within the PG&E Service Territory. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting.

This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. Provides direction and reviews primary designs proposed by estimating to ensure adequate capacity and reliability. Prepares settings for distribution protective devices. Performs circuit protection reviews and makes recommendations for corrections. Determines protection requirements for rule 20, WRO projects and other major distribution projects which could impact the existing protective scheme.

Prepares settings for Distribution Automation (DA) devices affecting distribution protection, voltage or emergency switching. Initiates service dependability solutions and actively participates in local reliability / root cause meetings. Works closely with construction to prioritize outage prevention work within DPA, addresses customer complaints (Help Tickets) for recurring outages as assigned. Prepares initial responses for CPUC complaints for recurring outages. Supports local DO’s, DEC, construction, or storm room in emergency restoration efforts as required.
