Purpose: As an O365 Engineer Lead on the End User Technology Team, you will play a crucial role in architecting, building, and maintaining the EUT infrastructure that supports our organization's end user applications and devices.

Accountabilities: Leadership and Team Management: Providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Help set clear goals, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of projects and conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Identify skill gaps and facilitate training and development opportunities.
Infrastructure Strategy and Architecture: Architect and drive the Office 365/End User Technology roadmap aligned with the organization's goals, while collaborating with partners to understand business requirements and translate them into infrastructure solutions.
Define, document, and maintain infrastructure standards, best practices, and guidelines. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Plan and execute infrastructure projects, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Participate and represent the End User Technology team at Architecture Review Boards while onboarding new technologies Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Architect and design End User Technology solutions that meet the organization's requirements including cloud-based platforms, virtualization, and other infrastructure components.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes. Ensure proper monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms are in place for proactive issue detection and resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure with applications and systems. Performance Optimization and Reliability: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, scalability challenges, and system failures.
Continuously supervise endpoint/application performance and conduct capacity planning, implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure high availability. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for incidents. Work closely with security teams to enforce compliance and implement security controls. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other engineering teams, product managers, and partners to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Communicate infrastructure plans, progress, and challenges to relevant partners, participate in cross-functional meetings and provide technical expertise and guidance.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.5+ years of experience as a senior engineer or technical leader with a focus on infrastructure. Strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based infrastructure solutions (AWS, Azure, etc. ). Expert knowledge of Office 365 components (e. g. Exchange, Intune, Share Point, Teams, etc.
