PURPOSE/SCOPE: Supply Chain Engineer will be part of a growing Supply Chain Engineering regional organization reporting to Materials Director.
The individual will lead and execute strategic improvements of overall supply chain processes within North America Materials with focus on New Product Launch (NPD), Engineering Changes (EC), Part for Every Part (PFEP) and key supply chain aspects of Material Master and related processes and controls, in order to ensure Materials Management teams are set up for successful executon while
meeting time to market timelines. GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES: Process ownership of Materials team tasks for NPD and ECM in order to achieve timely execution and SOP readiness ensuring new products launch in a desired state while miniminzing change related obsolesence Represents the interests of the Materials team functions in NPD / ECM meetings Leading, collaborating, and assisting with process improvements around NPD and ECM and championing problem-solving efforts on NPD / ECM issues Ownership of PFEP and SAP Master Data Management Supply Chain Network Design in collaboration with Global Strategic Sourcing, Advanced Operations and Transportation Establishment of packaging standards and maintenance
