Continuously identify hardware requirements and backss hardware requirements against the software needs of the fielded systems. Conduct trade studies to backss the most feasible options for hardware entering their end-of-life phase.
Test and evaluate the hardware components and document the results. Work with supporting vendor(s) to identify replacement hardware systems and integrate them onto the CHS# contract to ensure the hardware is procurable. Provide analyses and backssments of engineering change proposals (ECPs), functional and physical configuration audits (FCAs/PCAs), and first
article or production qualification testing. Provide testing to determine if a particular design is feasible and to achieve maximum compatibility. Apply industry best practices in the C5ISR architecture-based processes, frameworks, tools, and architecture views/viewpoints.
These architecture-based systems engineering processes and frameworks include, for example, the Department of Defense (DOD) Architecture Framework (Do DAF), v1.0, and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 1471-2000.
