Build and develop Service Now Discovery and Service Mapping patterns to support business and IT Administers operational support of Service Now to ensure it is run and maintained in keeping with industry standards and best practices and meet the business and IT needs. Develop and implement advanced workflows, business rules, script includes, client scripts, service portal widgets, flows and other scripting solutions

(i. e. Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each - including CMS/Service Portals).

Integrate data from multiple data sources where appropriate into a unified CMDB while ensuring data quality and integrity are maintained. Design enhancements and new customizations by using CSS, HTML, Angular JS, and other programming languages. Loads, manipulates, and maintains data between Service Now and other systems by using APIs and file imports. Provide expert troubleshooting on complex issues while serving as an escalation point to other platform administrators, analysts, and developers. Proactively stays current with platform capabilities, research and recommend use of new Service Now platform features/plugins to improve the user experience, process quality and to educate new team members.

Produce system design documentation for developed applications and updated solutions. Utilizes SCRUM/Agile development methodologies. Documents and follows established processes for both operational and agile/project development work. Use ETL tools for sourcing Service Now/CMDB data into a database system like SQL Server/Oracle/Snow Flake and build queries, views to expose underlying data for reporting and related use-cases.

Documents technical architectures that could be clearly understood and immediately used by developers to construct code and unit tests. CMDB, Discovery and Service Mapping Portal development, including creation of custom web components in Service Portal (CSS, HTML, Angular JS, node. JS, Bootstrap) Service Catalog, Custom Development on Service Now Platform Application integrations using REST APIs, web services, scripts, transform maps, etc. Flow Designer, Workflow, Integration Hub, Service Graph connectors ETL tools and database systems At least three (3) years' experience working with ITIL framework especially as it pertains to the CMDB model and governance. At least four (4) years of performing work experience in a Lead role; performing at least one platform upgrade; familiar with upgrade process [technical and functional], risks & mitigation methods, day-of upgrade execution.

Preferred: Experience with large scale, enterprise CMDB implementations Ability to function as a Technical Lead and mentor junior staff members. Experience in development, configuration, implementation and support of production and non-production Service Now instances. Possess ITIL v3 certification. Possess Service Now Admin Certification, Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist, or Service Now Certified Application Developer Strong verbal and written communication skills and proven technical leadership.
