The R&D Staff Packaging Engineer will impact health care and the MDS business groups by driving commercialization of new products and design changes for current products through development, qualification and launch phases. The R&D Staff Packaging Engineer contributes to building organizational effectiveness

Duties & Responsibilities: Subject matter expertise (SME) on packaging design for Class II and III medical device, medical and combination products. Technical leader of the design, development, and qualification of packaging systems for new and existing products. Independently develops and drives strategies for: Design Development: Develops packaging designs, DOE's, edge of failure analysis, process development and design verification. Design for Manufacturability (DFM): backss manufacturability, material selection, development

of packaging processes for new or existing packaging systems. Defining Packaging Requirements: Translate customers and regulatory needs into engineering requirements and specifications.

Leads multiple, complex, high-volume projects at one time. Implement DFSS tools through the design selection and development process, deploying statistical and analytical tools. Internal technical packaging SME and mentor for other packaging engineers Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Materials Engineering or a related Science/Engineering field is required. A post-graduate degree (MSc or Ph D) is preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in packaging of medical devices, medical and/or combination products is required.

In this exciting role, you will impact health care by driving commercialization

of new products and design changes for current products through all phases. You will use your experience and expertise to plan, design, build, and qualify measurement systems and methods vital to the evaluation of product safety, efficacy, performance, and compliance while ensuring accurate completion of project and business goals.

You will develop and drive the strategy and execution of product design verification and validation activities to demonstrate product safety, efficacy, performance, and compliance. You will support the development of the product designs and associated requirements to efficiently demonstrate their safety and efficacy. Duties & Responsibilities This role will

provide subject matterexpertise(SME) in the areas of: Mechanical and analytical testing development and methodologies for medical devices, materials, and combination products.

Including leading and supporting routine and non-routine USP, ASTM, ISO, and product performance and function testing. Develop test methods and craft requirements in the subject matter area which follow innovative and industry practices and standards not limited to USP, ASTM, and ISO. Apply rigorous and innovative approaches for developmentof test methods fornovel and non-compendial product evaluations. Understand and proliferate standard methodologies asit relates to testing Be versed in statistical analysis of method outputs, sample sizes related to and used in method validation and design verification.

Plan and support through all project phases, with a focus on the strategy and execution of measurement system development/qualification, design verification and design validation. Independently support product development projects and effectively define problems, collect, and interpret data, establish facts, draw valid scientific conclusions, and propose solutions or corrective actions. Craft, edit, and interpret technical drawings and technical reports and write protocols, reports, work instructions, presentations, etc.

Expertly apply engineering principles for design/analysis and complete statistical analysis and sample plan development. Demonstrate accountability for the successful and timely achievement of goals. Present to peer and customer audience on area of expertise to empower the organization and disseminate data and conclusions. Education & Experience Minimum 5-6 years of experience in medical device or other regulated industry OR Master's Degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering and 5+ years of experience OR Ph D in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering and 3+ years of experience.

Job Summary The Operations Liaison reports to the Engineering Services (ES) Manager to provide operations support for the Power Uprate Project for Salem Units 1 and 2 to achieve project scope, schedule, budget and safety goals consistent with Nuclear and Station goals and regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities Evaluate proposed plant operational changes and advise on operational risk for proposed project scope. Develop and revise operational procedures. Oversee modification testing development

and implementation. Interface with vendors, Licensing and NRC regarding operational issues, findings, open items and requests.

Interface with Operations Department subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify and resolve potential operational risk to support safe, efficient, cost effective operation of the Salem Units. Review design and proposed license changes for compliance with Technical Specifications and procedure impact. Perform 10CFR50.59 applicability reviews and Station Qualified Reviewer (SQR) reviews. Support implementation outages. Job Specific Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical area or equivalent education/experience 13 years of experience.

Prior or current SRO license at Westinghouse PWR technology, preferably at Salem Station. 5 years prior PWR experience Must meet the Nuclear Business Unit requirements for unescorted site access. Qualified (or capable of becoming qualified) as a SQR Reviewer and a 10CFR50.59 Evaluation preparer/reviewer. Preferred: Prior experiences in large plant projects and/or Power Uprates. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for 50.59, License Amendment Request preparation and any required supporting analysis. Provide oversight and approval for procurement specifications, design analyses, design basis calculations, system modifications, commissioning, closeout activates Job Responsibilities Balance Of Plant (BOP) Manager : Thermal performance of the secondary side of the plant, challenges with increase FW flow Feedwater heaters modification/replacements Booster pump and hotwell pump capacity Setpoint changes review related to transient conditions (runback, load reduction, loss of heater drain pumps) Condenser dump capacity review, TGV DP, MSSVs, FW pumps upgrade Feed Reg Valves backssment, modifications or replacement for increase Cv and/or for the exiting vibration issues Higher turbine exhaust flow and impact on Condenser Condensers Replace FW crossflow with DVR Job Specific Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or Physics Must have 10-15 years of engineering experience within a Commercial or Nuclear Power Plant industry Work effectively with a team to achieve team goals Support or manage large scale plant modifications Independently multi-task and resolve conflicting priorities Demonstrated Communication and presentation skills Demonstrated project management skills including Microsoft product usage (Excel, Word, Power Point).
