Duties and Responsibilities: Lead development, continuous improvement, and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance to enhance site safety, reliability, and cost.
Define, develop, and maintain critical asset reliability plan. Communicate directly with service providers, vendors, and contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects required to keep the company's assets running reliably. Coordinate with maintenance and operations leaders to optimally schedule preventive, calibration, and repair work orders. Develop CMMS reporting for maintenance trends such as uptime, planned vs unplanned work, etc. and present to operation and maintenance
teams. Assist in setting up, monitoring, and tracking key performance indicators related to industrial equipment reliability such as pumps, motors, bearings, furnaces, etc.
providing data and insights to inform best practice decision-making and actions. Improve and refine spare parts organization, management, and electronic data. Develop design, installation, test, and inspection criteria for equipment and suppliers. Inspect new installations to ensure they meet reliability specifications, and make recommendations to modify current installations to improve reliability/maintainability. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in reliability engineering to contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Other Duties and Responsibilities: Assist team identifying and sourcing spare parts as needed. Submit requisitions to purchasing to ensure parts and labor are available to meet business objectives. Verifies accuracy of shipments and deliveries and checks accuracy of packing slips. Utilize computer to locate new sources of suppliers as needed. Maintain records and files with precision and accuracy. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience.
Ability to effectively manage and drive large projects to completion required. Strong problem solving and root cause experience analysis preferred. Strong ability to multitask and prioritize work required. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and assists facility engineering and/or vendors on solving complex problems. Possess solid working knowledge of industrial equipment reliability required. Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to organization regarding reliability best practices. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels required.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required. CMMS experience required. Ability to learn and understand mechanical systems required. This position is directly tasked with supporting the Digital Technology Maintenance and Process control. Duties and Responsibilities: Write, develop and publish work instructions for all processes within the department that satisfy
the requirements of the customer (radiograph techniques), Pacific Cast Technologies, and the end user, with focus on supporting digital radiography. Research and compile data for continuous improvement and problem-solving activities, working with continuous improvement (CI) teams and leadership.
Continuously review production parts and processes to reduce costs, through ergonomic, quality and efficiency solutions. Engage in continuous improvement activities and the facilitation of these activities. Compile data and metrics to report out to leadership, the process and cost efficiency improvement. Assist in the development and implementation of NDT CI projects. Develop standards for
preventive maintenance of NDT equipment. Properly handle CR image plates (IPs).
Monitor IP scanner equipment Perform process control checks for certified individuals to evaluate. Maintain a proper IP inventory. Use laser cutter to create varied IP sizes. Create Special Cut cassettes as needed. Clean and repair screens in cassettes to maintain image quality. Clean and inspect all screens in the cassettes. Replace screens when necessary Wipe out and clean cassettes Once a month and as needed, clean, or replace IP's in the cassettes Perform Flat field checks on all IP's in service, qualify IP's in relevant software, update IP Control forms.
Perform other duties as directed. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: The implementation of lean solutions and process changes developed for digital technology applications and solutions in digital radiography. Radiography, radiographic equipment, tools and techniques, as well as inspection techniques. Effective verbal and written skills for developing technical work instructions. Effectively communicating with radiography staff to support digital processes. Performing X-Ray inspections per requirements. Writing intermediate technical work instructions for radiography applications.
Performing NDT technique evaluations, and developing improved techniques as necessary for the customer. Assisting with the design of digital part fixture concepts. Obtain Digital Level II certification within six months of start date. Demonstrate proficiency of computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Overcome film-based process traditions to create and implement new efficient digital technology process solutions. Assist in guiding people through change (listening, coaching and developmental communication). Develop digital x-ray technique cards and process documents.
Provide training and direction to Radiographers on continued use of digital radiography. Lead and work within a team environment. Effectively organize work and develop reprioritization solutions as needed to meet deadlines and goals. Troubleshoot computer software and equipment issues. Associates degree in a technical field is preferred. Continuous improvement experience is preferred. At least two years of radiography film or digital interpretation is required. At least two years of manufacturing or production environment experience is required.
