Operations and Maintenance departments to support on-going plant operations Depending on specific assignment, responsibilities may include: Provide discipline engineering for capital projects or engineered work orders Complete engineering studies to improve reliability of plant facilities or operations Provide specific technical expertise to develop or maintain engineering standards Provide reliability and maintenance input to capital project design Provide technical support to operating and maintenance departments to support on-going plant operations Collect and analyze data to identify projects to improve plant reliability and reduce conversion cost Perform reliability studies on specific plant equipment or larger systems to identify and recommend projects to improve reliability and reduce conversion costs Lead project teams to complete large studies, troubleshoot complex problems &/or execute large complex repair projects Assist in the installation, check out and start-up of new or modified processes and equipment Develop and champion the implementation of new technology Qualifications Bachelor (BS) or Master's (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET- accredited institution is required Must have at least 3 years of relevant experience Broad range of mechanical engineering knowledge Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Good judgment and planning and organizing skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment with other engineers of varied disciplines as well as Operations & Maintenance personnel Good team leadership skills Good project management skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively handle a large volume of important or urgent issues in a timely manner and self-manage a demanding workload; high level of initiative Service-oriented and customer-focused Strong commitment to personnel and process safety Considered a Plus Experience with capital project engineering, reliability engineering, project management, operations &/or maintenance Experience in chemical or petrochemical manufacturing environment Eastman Chemical Company is an equal opportunity employer.

Management (AIM) program. In this role, you’ll assist with evaluating the status of the AIM programs corporately and help drive key improvements. This role will also require extensive interface and partnership with global manufacturing sites.

Primary responsibilities include: Assist with the development of Corporate Asset Integrity (AI) standards and procedures – collaborate with corporate subject matter experts (SMEs) for technical content Serve as a resource/mentor for manufacturing sites with the development and implementation of asset integrity programs (inspection & testing programs, QA processes, fit for service backssments, etc. ) Perform data mining and analysis, partnering with

) Participate in external benchmarking to understand industry best practices Occasional travel to domestic and international manufacturing sites to assist with backssing the site asset integrity programs Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials preferred) from an accredited institution is required Must have at least 3 years of Asset Integrity experience Previous experience in a chemical or petrochemical manufacturing setting with broad understanding of operational needs and issues across the site highly preferred Experience with mechanical integrity programs highly preferred Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred (not required) General knowledge of chemical industry engineering techniques, codes, and standards related to Asset Integrity Knowledge of Pd M technologies (preferred) Familiar with risk management and process safety concepts Must have good interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and consultation skills.
