This position is in the MK 48 Intermediate Maintenance Activity with an onsite troubleshooting and repair capability
for the MK 48 Heavyweight Torpedo and associated test equipment. The individual will complete a variety of maintenance actions and repairs using detailed procedures and will have oversight from a direct manager.

Perform crane operations within the facility Support continuous process improvement and innovation Perform Quality Assurance Inspections/reviews Perform Ordnance Handling Evolutions within the facility Perform Torpedo verification testing, operation, repairs and maintenance actions utilizing automatic test equipment per approved procedures and accurately documenting the completion Certified IPC J-STD-001 CIS Basic Qualifications 5 Years Experience with Bachelors in Science Broad understanding and application of electrical engineering technical standards Wide-ranging technical expertise and working knowledge of other related disciplines Reviews electrical engineering material documentation for accuracy/validation Studies basic design concepts and criteria for more complex problems Applies electrical engineering principles to adapt or improve upon heritage features from previous designs Knowledgeable with the use of basic test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, and electronic loads Perform qualification testing, troubleshooting, and test data review of completed work packages Perform data analysis to identify trends that may indicate out of tolerance or degraded part performance Electrical engineering preferred Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
